Lovely place to eat suitable for all the family

Visited last Saturday. Group of 11 aged between 2 and 87. The staff were very welcoming especially to our grand daughter The pub is small however no issue with her stroller. The meals were prepared in a reasonable time and the quality and price were excellent especially the children's menu... read more

Menu was very poor and limited and the starters did not match the description in the menu. Steaks however, were good. Staff friendly enough

So there wasn't anything wrong with the food, it came out in a timely manner and was hot. However, there was so much balsamic on the starter the it was the overriding taste and the portion for the price was a little meger (in the main I can't finish a meal, but I left feeling hungry). The mains were child... More

Norton tavern looks very inviting from the roadside and does not disappoint when you go in. Attractive decor. Nice ambience to place. Largely traditional menu of home cooked food. Great for pub lunch or dinner. Staff warm and friendly. Reasonable prices.

First visit Christmas Eve and was surprised at the quality and service on offer. Even though we were given the wrong menu (the lunch menu) we would still return and recommend.

My daughter and I went out at the spur of the moment just for a snack. I'd been in the Norton Tavern in the summer but my daughter who lives abroad has never been. The staff were welcoming, pub cozy and friendly, food great. I highly recommend this place.

Gorgeous food & staff were very friendly. Can't fault the food or the service, and will definitely be back. Gutted couldn't get in for Christmas day dinner (they have... More

Visited here today for Sunday Dinner. Decided on the Steak Pie, which was delicious. Nice large chunks of tender meat with lovely Puff Pastry. Large selection of vegetables consisting of Roast Potatoes, Roast Parsnips, Creamy Mash, Carrots, Sprouts, Cabbage and delicious Cauliflower Cheese. We took our 2 year old Granddaughter with us and she had a childs Turkey Roast. Couldn't... More
