Booked in at the restaurant of The Parkmore Hotel as non residents for my mums birthday. Food was of excellent quality and presented beautifully with portions sizes not over facing but big enough to leave you not feeling hungry. The a la carte menu served a wide variety of dishes all at excellent price for the high standard expected. The... More

Booked Parkmore again for our 2013 Christmas party with friends... VERY DISAPPOINTED The menu sounded great with a twist on the traditional turkey dinner - however, the turkey escalope wrapped in parma ham was actually a few thin slices of pre packed sandwich style turkey slices with a few bits of CHARRED something thrown on top - the roasted potatoes... Attended this restaurant, which is local to us, as a family/friends group to celebrate a birthday on a Saturday night. Everyone enjoyed the occassion and were very happy with their meal choices, not only the quality and the taste, but the style by which they were presented on the plate. Despite being a Saturday the restaurant was not busy, which... More

It was just the three of us celebrating our daughters graduation, The restaurant wasn't very busy but quite a lot of staff on!!! But it did mean we had quite a lot of attention paid to us. The food was excellent, we couldn't decide on a dessert so they suggested an assiette which was very pleasing.

A bit hit and miss, but meals tend to be very small. Good if you are on a diet or not a big eater. Burger is pretty good, and the mushroom and chicken wrap as a starter was a winner.

Found the sunday lunch to be quite disappointing. For starters I had melon, which was presented in this fancy way where the melon was thin shavings. Then we had the carvery; overdone Yorkshires that had no texture and just crumbled to dust when you cut them, hard roasties and bland gravy. My dad complained that his sticky toffee pudding was...
