Superb meal for our party of four people.Welcoming Landlady,polite and efficient staff.The food and beers are first class.Word of warning though.If it is a sunny day eat outside as the conservatory is stifling!

A lovely meal on sunday afternoon in a welcoming pub. Staff were very attentive and could not have done more. Food was fantastic and of good portion size. Clearly home made fresh food and the chips were to die for. I will definitely but returning - next time with a larger party.

Went here for Saturday lunch with relatives on the basis of the number of excellent reviews we'd read on Tripadvisor. DId we go to the right Saracen's Head? Perhaps we chose a bad day. The food was average pub grub, nothing more, nothing less so ultimateley we were disappointed as we were expecting better. Very good, friendly service though.

the food was excellent, there was a lovely calm & pleasant atmosphere. The service was second to none, I would highly recommend this restaurant & will definitely eat out for Christmas day in future, took all the stress out of christmas & no washing up!! :)
