Lovely little pub friendly staff great beer proper home cooked food that's really tasty. Right next to the railway but I didn't hear any trains while I was there. Little beer garden and they host a beer festival! Super little place

We visit this establishment fairly regular and the reason we do is simple. Bar staff are very friendly and talkative. Beer is really nice and we'll priced. It's cosy inside with a nice little beer garden. Plenty of parking close to town what more could you want

My family and I quite often meet here for a drink on a Sunday, it has a really cosy feel and the staff/owners are ever so friendly. Attended the Quiz here once as well which was really fun and well organised!

The best beer battered cod I have ever tasted! I will be back for more. The Inn has a new chef - you will not be disappointed by the delicious food.

It has been a long time coming, but the kitchen is now being run by someone who knows how to cook. Had a perfectly cooked rare rib eye steak and the wife had the best hunters chicken she has ever had in the Spit - long may it continue - looking forward to the new menu as well !!

We dropped into the spittal brook as they had a beer festival on with a nice range of ales, whilst sat at our table my wife commented on the food as it looked appealing so we decided to stay for a meal. The service was quick which surprised us as they seemed to have a lot of orders and the service... More

If you like real ale, and don't want to go either into Stafford or well out of the town, the Spittle is the palce. Just of Queensville bridge (B&B side) with its own car park ... Good selection of guest ales and a 'different' selection of meals to bot. Good atmosphere - double check for special guts, beer festivals etc.

Pub at end of a small road next to the railway. Friendly staff. Serves food which looked nice (we didn't eat). Pleasant beer garden.

We love this pub, down to earth and unpretentious. They have guest ales and ciders. Meals are good, obviously not the full range of a posh restaurant. But we can go for a walk with the dog, pop in and have a drink and a meal and the dog is welcomed. She thinks it's great too! And you can read... More

Visited the Spittal Brooke last Friday with my family, I have to say we really enjoyed ourselves. This is a proper “Pub”. It has a great atmosphere as well as good ales and ciders. We had a meal while we were there, and although the menu choice it limited all the meals we had were home cooked and delicious. We... More
