Today, just popped in for a bite to eat for lunch. Smiley, welcoming staff welcomed us. Good menu from snacks to main meals. We just had the soup. Really tasty with big chunks of fresh bread. Service was extraordinarily efficient and quick. Happy to serve us tap water, when asked, as well. Coffee really nice and bread and butter pudding... More

Stopped for tea and scones, which were fine. Very busy with mostly locals. Good friendly service and food was fine.

Enjoyed very nice Latte's and 'people-watched' from the outside table and chairs - lovely! Can't comment on the food as we didn't eat here.

We all had scampi and chips, worst food ever, the chips were undercooked and soggy as was the scampi, we ate bits of it as we were hungry, nobody came to ask if our food was ok. I mentioned it... I love this restaurant, it's perfectly located for watching all the activities in the market square and they serve a wonderful selection of homemade cakes!

Sadly not as cheap as the chips! Looking in it looked just right! We chose ham egg and chips twice. The chips are frozen, 1 egg only And some acceptable ham! And side salad - how weird! We had ketchup, mayo and vinegar. Needn't have had the vinegar the ketchup was vile and vinegary and the mayo tasteless! Why do... More
