I came in for lunch today with the family. The food was tasty, the service was pleasant. The cakes were scrummy and it was reasonably priced for a vegetarian restaurant. Thank you.

If the words vegetarian/wholemeal/organic fill you with dread then don't even think about visiting The Good Earth as there are plenty of other nice places to eat in Wells. The Good Earth has been around for as long as I've lived in the area (over 30 years) and it's always a delight to visit. The whole building smells delicious and... More

In this vegetarian restaurant you grab a tray and are served at a counter school-dinner fashion. The food is wholesome, tasty and very reasonably priced. I had macaroni cheese with a butternut squash topping and a roasted tomato sauce - with a bulgar wheat salad on the side (and free roll and butter). I would definitely recommend it.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon. The food is excellent and is one of the best vegetarian places I have been to. The goulash was really good with a nice topping and gluten free cakes (excellent and the best we have had anywhere) to follow (lots of gluten free choice for meals and cakes etc). We do not live in... More

I had the roast vegetable pizza and salads, Waldorf, Puy Lentil and leaves, hubby had the Vegetable Lasagne and daughter had Three Cheese Quiche and salads. Excellent value and so nice to eat somewhere entirely vegetarian so there is no possible fear of meat contamination.... my wish now? Evening opening and a recipe book please

We have visited here on previous occasions. We have enjoyed African Stew, or Chilli Bean Tagine, and my wife enjoys the large jacket potatoes. They have homemade rolls to go with the meal. I like the seeded variety. The puddings are all home made. The Lemon Meringue was superb with double cream on it. Homemade healthy food at its best. Its... More

This cafe had a number of people outside of it on Saturday so we decided to wait until Monday and it was worth it. Homemade healthy food that is served by pleasant staff in a lovely environment. The quiche is beautiful!! Just need to let you know it's self service when you come in, we were a little confused.

The Good Earth is defintely well worth a visit, it is clean and tidy with a good variety of healthy vegetarian food on offer. I had the soup (tomato and butterbean) - piping hot and absolutely delicious; whilst my partner had the quiche which was served with plenty of salad and cous-cous. Only two moans - it did take quite... More

My sister suggested this restaurant. Lovely, tasty food but be aware the portions are large so you may want to share....no problem as it gives you the opportunity to taste several dishes.
