We visited here whilst on a family holiday. They fitted seven of us in nicely and the service was good. Most of our party really enjoyed their food especially my wife who has to follow a wheat and gluten free diet. I didn't enjoy my roast dinner at all unfortunately but the ploughmans boards that some of my party had... More

Located on the busy high street of cheddar gorge this is a lovely little tea room with cracking patio views of the hustle and bustle that's going on all around you. Some parking but the main parking is 100m away further into the village. Good coffee and nice cakes with a simple but tasty menu.

Wonderful Sunday lunch with no less than 4 different types of veg - peas, carrots, broccoli and greens, as well as 2 Yorkshire puds. Extra gravy supplied and the place was spotless and beautifully decorated, with delightful staff. There is also a small parking bay for visitors to the restaurant.

We went there for breakfast before visiting the Gorge. Lovely atmosphere and food. Staff were friendly and the setting was comfortable. We did see cheaper priced breakfasts later further up the Gorge but were happy with the value at Edelweiss

Home made large scones, quality jam and real clotted cream all served in a good location next to the river - what could be better? We found the service exceptional too, the young waitresses were polite , friendly and chatty - we really couldn't have asked for more. We haven't delved into the lunchtime menu yet (too many cream teas!)... More

We visited late morning and missed breakfast so had an early lunch. The ambience was lovely, staff very polite and everything was clean and well presented. I had a nice gluten free fish and chips (a rare find) and my boyfriend had homemade steak and kidney pie. The pie was so good that we went back for dinner and he... More
