Great selection of different teas, home bakes and set afternoon teas to suit all ages.Steep stairs up to garden area which is small and I would imagine quite busy but sheltered staff knew everything!

Popped in for lunch and sat outside. The cutlery, pots and tables are nicely decorated. We had nice sandwiches, soup, tea and scones. The staff are friendly, service was quick and it has a nice atmosphere. Only slight negative was one of the sandwiches weren't filled all the way into the corners.

This is a great little place to have a light lunch (saving room for cakes for dessert!) in a great setting. Would definitely recommend it.

The hidden gem of this busy tea room is the garden at the back of the building. The garden sandwiched snugly on terraces between the gorge and the walls of the tea room. Canopies shelter most of the tables. (Ask if there are any tables available at the till.) We arrived mid afternoon and had Traditional cream teas and sandwiches... More

This tea room is delightful. Ha a traditional feel and does amazing cream teas and also wheat and gluten free if needed. Lovely drinking proper tea from dainty china cups.

Really looked forward to visiting this place because of the other good reviews. Although this place is very pleasant that serves nice tea, I was very disappointed in the food. My wife and I ordered the cream tea with the "homemade" scones.  The scones that derricks serve are cheap and there is no way they are they are homemade as... More

Popped in here during our visit to Cheddar, to get away from the rain. We opted for sandwiches and cream teas. The chocolate cream tea was absolutely amazing!! For such a lovely little tearoom in a beautiful setting, the prices are very competitive, would definitely return here if we were in the area again.
