Visited midweek around 8.30. Restaurant was pretty quiet. It is in a basement which might put some people off as there is no natural light but the interior is ok consisting mainly of 4 person booths. Food was very tasty. Very food Prawn Puree to start followed by Chicken Shashlik Bhuna which was superb - lovely pieces of tender marinated... More

My wife and I visited this restaurant at 8pm on a busy Saturday evening, Even though we didn't have a reservation the staff were very accommodating, and after a 5 minute wait we were taken to a very cosy corner booth which was just what we were looking for. The service was excellent with just the right amount of time... More

My partner and I have a takeaway almost every week and the food and service is always top notch. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and the food delicious. I can't recommend this restaurant enough, probably the best Indian restaurant in Bath!

Nicely decorated and very reasonably priced food for the centre of Bath. From outside the food smelled amazing, that was what lured us in. Staff were very friendly. Was disappointed with the food though. Chicken was over cooked and the flavours were very bland. A shame really.

With lots of competition around in this very tourist town, everyone has to work hard to offer value for money. Bengal Brasserie certainly does this at lunchtime with a three course lunch on offer for £7.50. There's a limited choice, but that's absolutely fair enough at that price. The starters we had (onion bhajia & chicken tikka) were very good,... More
