Indian food made easy. Honest

First came to Bath in 1996 on business and tried this restaurant. Moved here in 2002 to work and live, and I'm still going back. It does what says on the tin, enjoy, I did.

We booked this restauant after it was recommended by a local. We were not disappointed. We sat in a booth which was cosy and reminded me of a train compartment. The choice of food was excellent, tasty and extremely good value for the money paid. My husband really enjoys Indian and he was extremely impressed by it, the staff were... More

On a recommendation we booked a table (booth) at the Bengal Brasserie on Saturday evening, this is a clean and well decorated Indian Restaurant the staff were very attentive and not intrusive. We were offered the obligatory Popadom and Pickles which were delightful and out main courses from an extensive menu I chose a mild chicken dish, we also chose... More

Great food and definitely bang for your buck! My husband and I spontaneously dropped in one night while we were visiting Bath and it blew our expectations out of the water. Service was attentive and courteous; food arrived in a timely manner, and you can't beat it for the price.

My husband, daughter and I enjoyed a lovely meal here. It is reasonably priced and the service is excellent. The restaurant is in a basement on Bath's famous Milsom Street and it is really a sweet restaurant. We will come back here again to try their special lunch deal - £7.50 for 2 courses!!!

We had a really good meal at the Bengal Brasserie, quite early in the evening so nice and quiet. The surroundings are a bit dated, but the food was excellent. Really tasty and not overly spicy, excellent Nan bread. Maybe we were a bit conservative with our choices from the menu, but it made me feel a bit nostalgic for... More

Seriously good authentic curry every time. Not luminous, fake or full of colourings just real fresh ingredients. Very good prices and may I add... You try and find a curry house with 5 star food hygiene rating. Service is truly cracking too.

Decent curry, listings in the menu a bit eccentric, my wife wanted a lamb Bhuna, not listed, but ordered no problem. It's a bit retro as the tables are in booths and decor basic. Anyway food good, good service. If wanting a curry in Bath, you'll get a decent meal.

Thank Iandwat
