Food is really good, great atmosphere too

We tried 2 ales, a cider and then went onto the wine! All very nice! We decided to eat in here as well and tried the pie with mash - perfect and very tasty! Great atmosphere, just like a pub used to be like!

Went in here for a few drinks and thought it was a brilliant little pub. The atmosphere is great and the staff were friendly. Great proper pub feel and a good selection of drinks

This is the 2nd time I have visited The Raven. My first visit was with a small Stag party last year and now I am back with my new wife. For both kinds of visit this is the perfect pub. It's very friendly, it has a great traditional taproom and it always has good beer on tap. Can't comment on... More

UK trip with my adult daughter. Bath our second stop after Stonehenge. Checked for best pub on TA and made our way to The Raven. Very glad we did. Friendly greeting from the staff. Interesting characters at the bar. Best part - THE PIES. We were both very hungry and the pies with chips were outstanding. Great party, stuffed with... More

seriously, the best pie I've ever had in the UK. Lots of beers and scotch as well but it's that pies that makes it worth a visit.

From the moment we entered this pub we were captivated. Staff were excellent and the food was terrific. We had been told the pies were good and they definitely lived up to our expectations. There is a sitting area on the ground level and one above with a bar in both areas. Initially as we were a large group who... More

Great place to drink or eat - go all out and get a Raven Ale, Raven Pie and Raven gravy. Upstairs was comfortable and had a chilled vibe with plenty of beers on tap.

Twelve of us descended on The Raven on a Saturday evening in Bath and while busy after a short wait we were seated and enjoying the wonderful pies and atmosphere of this deservedly busy eatery. Can't recommend highly enough 10/10.

The Raven is often my go-to place for lunch when I have friends/family visiting. They elevate Pie Minister pies to another level, with fantastic chips and a variety of delicious gravies. And of course they have a great selection of beers and wine too. The only problem is they get so busy that sometimes it's hard to get a table!

Just off queens square this pub is a cracker. I lived near bath for 17 years & I can't believe I have not been here before! Traditional bar downstairs and a nice one upstairs. Pies are just out of this world & the beer is fantastic! What's not to like?
