Famous for its beer, pies and atmosphere. Pass for their wifi is (funnilly enough) `eatmorepies`. A little difficult to find but worth the effort. Also it is next door to the also famous `gin house`.

Terrible experience, but it's only my humble opinion ! Rude staff, disappointing food and lipstick on my glass.not the best place I've ever been. Would not recommend !

A great experience in Bath. Ate on Monday night , 2 vegetarians went for mushroom pie, the mash was wonderful, the choice of gravy is great and the Raven Ale was also superb. Helpful and friendly staff. Happy to let you try the beers. We sat upstairs early evening. A quiet haven amid the rush and splutter of Bath's more... More

My sister in law and her family invited myself and my wife for a pie and a pint , wow , the local raven beer was fantastic and the pie was the best I'd ever had. This place must not be missed

If you can get a seat in The Raven, I would definitely recommend one of their pie meals. As a vegetarian, I had the Heidi pie, with chips and gravy (3 gravy options available - all vegetarian). My husband went for the Raven Ale pie, with mustard mash, which he said was delicious. We were very lucky to get a... More

Nice old traditional pub serving really delicious pies. I can highly recommend the Mistle Moo pie with mash and red wine gravy. Definitely the best pie mash gravy combo I have ever tasted. The barman was a bit grumpy which was a shame, but we will still be back next time we visit beautiful Bath.

Just off of the high street, but if you like a good home made pie then this is the place to visit. A local pub, the entrance doors are quite small but once inside there is plenty of space and seating upstairs. Get in early as it gets busy quickly. Reasonable priced and friendly staff. Good choice of steak, chicken... More

Well, Bath seems to have more than its fair share of really good Pubs with food. The negatives, if that is what they are, first. No children or pets. But these seem to make this fantastic pub more attractive. The main bar on the ground floor boasts at least five real ale pumps, one of which is permanently for a... More

I love a good pie and these are good pies with generous filling and plenty of flavour. The service was very good and it had a nice atmosphere. We went on a Sunday whilst the Christmas market was on so I was surprised we got a table as Bath was very busy, however, The Raven is a little out of... More

Great traditional bar and although extremely busy a relaxed enjoyable atmosphere. I tried the special traditional ciders, very nice and strong too easy to drink. I had to head to prove it. Highly recommended.
