Description: The Bath Priory restaurant in Bath has held a Michelin star since October 2012. Found within the Bath Priory Hotel, a Georgian mansion of honey-coloured stone, it’s a great place when you want sophisticated food in an elegant setting. Executive Chef Sam Moody, creates stellar dishes with a strong emphasis on kitchen garden ingredients with an inventive use of traditional herbs and flowers. Where possible, all meat is locally sourced and the menu sticks closely to what’s in season. "

Eating out doesn't get much better than lunch at the Bath Priory. The food is truly wonderful and sitting outside in the beautiful garden afterwards drinking our coffee was a delight. The Priory offers several different eating places. So far we have only tried the main restaurant for lunch which is very relaxed. The service and ambience are second to... More

Service was very polished & attentive. We had an excellent gourmet dinner and full breakfast. This is a special experience, on a par with Chewton Glen & Hambledon Hall. Naturally this is reflected in the price. Drinks can be served on the delightful garden terrace, or in the comfortable lounges. Be aware this is a suburban location & nearby schools... More

from the moment you walk in until when you finally leave - it is amazing. We had afternoon tea, we were treated so warmly and the staff are excellent at keeping you entertained and allowing you privacy. The setting is lovely, relaxed yet grand, scones were amazing Cannot wait to be back

Our nineteen family members met for lunch here, a treat from seniour member Pete. We had a buffet style lunch provided in a room dedicated to our party with a lovely view through french windows and a balcony onto the gardens beyond. On arrival we were served with elderflower cordial, savoury hors d'oeuvres and good coffee. For the main buffet... More

If you have cash to splash the experience of dining at The Priory is a must for visiting Bath. Take the Head Sommelier suggestions for wines and just sit back and enjoy. This is an unforgettable experience. Look online for special events and taster menus.

Went to the tweet feast. Service was great and the food was if a high standard the presentation of the food on the plate and the taste was of a wonderful standard. However the drinks I feel where truly over price £7 for a bottle and £11 for a glass of wine is well overpriced. Had a great night and... More

I have been very lucky to have eaten at some superb restaurants all over the world and this was my worst experience in a Michelin star restaurant. The tasting menu took over 3 hours to be served for 7 courses and some of the dishes were not up to a standard that I would call Michelin. Some food came cold,... More

My wife and I were extremely lucky to have been invited out for an evening's entertainment by Mallory The Jewellers. After going to the Theatre Royal we were whisked off to the Priory Hotel for a late supper. It was very late by the time we arrived, but you wouldn't have thought it by the full attention of the restaurant... More
