Description: The Bath Priory restaurant in Bath has held a Michelin star since October 2012. Found within the Bath Priory Hotel, a Georgian mansion of honey-coloured stone, it’s a great place when you want sophisticated food in an elegant setting. Executive Chef Sam Moody, creates stellar dishes with a strong emphasis on kitchen garden ingredients with an inventive use of traditional herbs and flowers. Where possible, all meat is locally sourced and the menu sticks closely to what’s in season. "

We had the opportunity to have a wonderful lunch at The Bath Priory, with good friends recently. The decor, the service and the food were excellent. What a wonderful way to spend a rainy Winter afternoon. The wine list is quite good, and deep, as well. There was not a thing that I would have changed - other than the... More

Attentive from the moment we drove into the grounds. Staff welcoming, cosy atmosphere and excellent food. Gardens great , could not fault this restaurant. They do a wonderful set lunch at a very resonable price especially for the high quality food that is served. Every where clean and attention to detail was top class.

As I'm working Xmas day my Mrs treated me to lunch at the Bath Priory. I was once told that you can get great deals and really nice restaurants if you try lunchtimes and the Bath Priory did not disappoint. We had a lovely three course meal with cocktail, glass of wine and bottled water for £40 each, great value.... More

Beautiful setting, excellent service, lovely food I was a little concerned because of the time of year and the 'Christmas menu' for the 3 course lunch. We thought that the turkey main course was a bit average but everything else( amuse bouche, starters sweets etc very tasty and good value Wine a bit lacking in quality for the price but... More

Our dinner at The Bath Priory was a very pleasant experience. We had a delicious pre-dinner in one of the main halls of the hotel, drinking a wonderful Riesling and enjoying particular and tasty appetizers. Then we were welcomed in the restaurant where we had an excellent dinner. Fantastic the fish, cooked in a masterly manner. Very professional the sommeliers... More

We had the taster menu here on Sunday 23rd November. The food was absolutely amazing. We had the wine tasting selection with each course. I am a fussy eater and to adjust the taster selection was not a problem. Christina was lovely as were the rest of the staff including the lady who had picked each wine for each course.... More

I have thought very carefully about writing this review for several days. This not a negative review for the sake of it, but I am really puzzled as to why our lunch was so average. We celebrated my wifes' birthday last Friday by having lunch at the Priory. Staff were fantastic and even presented my wife with a Happy Birthday... More

a month ago I travelled with Hazel to visit Casa Mia - a "must do" venue from around the randomly M-Starred UK. She is usually more than trustworthy on food choices, but for several reasons, the venue didn't live up to the credit card receipt. But we loved Bristol. So a month later, there we were again. this time "twinning"... More

I was taken here for my birthday. After a lovely cocktail in the sunshine on the balcony overlooking the green gardens, we were escorted inside - to the warm and open dining room. We ordered the special tasting menu and it was really really something. Loved the truffle bites but all the plates were delicious and beautifully presented. The matching... More

Bet you thought this outrageous women with a truffle fixation will never write a review (last November) about how amazing the head chef was, wrong! What a story... It was a truffle fest degustation, awesome presentation, awesome food but me being me 2 dishes out of 6 had the truffle that I was expecting. The other 4 (and don't get... More
