Description: The Bath Priory restaurant in Bath has held a Michelin star since October 2012. Found within the Bath Priory Hotel, a Georgian mansion of honey-coloured stone, it’s a great place when you want sophisticated food in an elegant setting. Executive Chef Sam Moody, creates stellar dishes with a strong emphasis on kitchen garden ingredients with an inventive use of traditional herbs and flowers. Where possible, all meat is locally sourced and the menu sticks closely to what’s in season. "

We came here for dinner during a visit to Bath. Our stay in Bath had been organised because of this restaurant and so we were really looking forward to it. We were advised to arrive 30mins early for drinks and canapés. Greeted at the door, we were shown to the garden (the weather was lovely). Promptly given drinks menus, we... More

The previous evening we had dined at Marcus at The Berkeley in London and we felt the Priory was a much superior dinner and evening altogether. A friend from Switzerland was treating us and we all came away saying what a great evening. Enjoyable pre dinner drinks in the lovely garden. Excellent amuse-bouche and bread and that was all before... More

I visited the Priory to have a Saturday Lunch with a friend. Which i was really looking forward too as I'd the spa previously and wanted to check out the food. We ate in the Pantry section as she has a young baby and this is the only option, which is understandable. It also turns out they had a large... More

We booked in for lunch and were greeted warmly and shown to the garden as it was a lovely day. From then on, it was unbeatable; the staff are friendly and knowledgeable ( its a lovely touch to be referred to by name on every suitable occasion! ) And as for the food--------my main course was Gnocchi with truffles and... Took my boyfriend for his 21st and the staff were very friendly and attentive. They let me eat from the a la carte menu because I was vegetarian and had little choice otherwise which was much appreciated! The food was exceptionally good (particularly the pudding!) and the staff were helpful telling us what was in each dish. The sommelier Francesca... More

A warm spring day in Bath, my birthday and a lunch reservation at the Bath Priory, what could be better. We arrived to be greeted at the door and led to the elegant drawing room where sofa's with freshly plumped cushions welcomed you in to sit. Having taken our drinks order we were left to relax and scan the menu... More

It has been a tradition in our family to celebrate my birthday on 9th July every year. So having clocked up 66 of them my wife and I decided to have lunch at the Bath Priory. This was a big mistake, we should never have waited 66 years to become acquainted with this establishment. We were hugely impressed by the... More

My kids (best kids in the world clearly) treated my wife and I to a meal at the Bath Priory. This is my third Michelin stared restaurant in the last 3 months (due to having a big birthday) and definitely the best of the three. The setting is beautiful, the staff attentive but not OTT and the atmosphere relaxed (for... More
