It's easy to see why this restaurant has merited a Michelin Star. The food and the service are impeccable. Don't expect big portions, but the food is rich and of a very high quality, so you shouldn't go away too hungry. Thoroughly recommend it.

As mentioned by a previous reviewer, the car park is inadequate and as this restaurant is not close to the centre of Bath driving there is necessary or catching a bus. As a group of ladies, we were eating at lunchtime in The Pantry, which is not at all attractive. We chose the set menu. There is nothing worse than... More

We had been looking forward to our lunch at the Bath Priory for some time and we were not disappointed. Each course, from the canapés with drinks at the start, to the beautifully risen soufflé at the end was delicious. Thank you, Sam and the team for providing us with such a memorable dining experience. We will be back!

A group of 8 went to lunch today which I have to say was superb. We all found it value for money and head chef Sam Moody and his team must all be congratulated from the service to the quality of the food. We had the set menu the choices were simple but exquisite and no fault could be found.... More

Without doubt both myself and my fiancé rate this as the best Michelin starred restaurant in the south west. I had the pork trio, my fiancé the Sea Bass and we both had the salted caramel fondant. We were given lovely starters free of charge. A couple of glasses of prosecco, water, a few Granny Smiths and the meal came... More

Well, I feel badly writing this as we believe that the chef is very talented and what we ate (when it finally arrived) was quite good but although Parisians and used to longer meals, the service was indeed really slow and discordant, thus the complaint. Actually, I rarely complain of a meal taking too long. It's generally the opposite which... More

I booked a table for lunch at the Bath Priory hotel's restaurant for me and my daughter yesterday. The service was of a very good standard and the food was also good (although quite small portions). We started with a cocktail each and moved onto a 3 course lunch with a bottle of wine selected from their very full list.... More

Was treated to afternoon tea for my birthday , was very excited as it is lovely surroundings there - the sandwiches were okay, not offered anymore , had to ask for more tea and water. The cakes were quite simple and basic , was expecting more from this standard of hotel. The service was very slow and when guests left... More
