If the name of this restaurant alone isn't enough to make you want to dine here, then we'll eat our Dhaka topi hats. However, in case you need any further incentive – we're delighted to say that this super-cosy establishment is superb. With whitewashed walls and brightly coloured hand-woven cushions, the Nepalese dining room at Yak Yeti Yak in Bath is warm, peaceful, and popular with a fresh-faced crowd who look like they climb mountains just for fun. While - as far as we can tell - there is no actual yeti on the menu, there are plenty of other star attractions such as the Yak Yeti Yak Beef – spicy beef stir-fried with onions, sweet peppers and tomatoes.

Proper nepalese food with himalayan spice

We have been there on sunday with friends and we like the food and feel we were in nepal.the decoration of the restaurant was much better than other restaurant due to some traditional materials. We will visit again with other new friends who like to remember nepal freely.

My first taste of Nepalese food and I was not disappointed. The service was very good as was the food. My husband and I enjoyed marinated fried salmon and pork momos for starters, followed by two meat dishes, black lentil dal and fried rice. We shall return next time we are in Bath.

We live in Cheshire and stopped over in Bath last year and called in here on a whim loved it so much we came back for our wedding anniversary and it was on the list of must dos in Bath, cannot believe anyone could write bad reviews about this place - each to their own - but honestly - we... More

I had been told a lot about this place by my wife who had been many times before I met her. We both felt let down as it was not as she had experienced it previously and for me it was a poor comparison to the level I had expected. The food was very average and the service worse. I... More

Ate here on a Friday evening in April 2015. That was a few weeks back so can't remember all the details but in summary the service is friendly, good atmosphere. Our starters were ok although a bit filling and not particularly brilliant but the main courses were excellent. Would definitely go back.

Cozy basement setting, friendly staff and very good food if you want something a bit out of the ordinary. I really loved the savoury chutney served with the popadoms.

We're always up for trying new places and this seemed to have a number of good reviews, so we gave it a try. Sadly it did not match up to the reviews. The food was at best quite bland, served on metal plates that cooled it very quickly. The portions were on the small side, and our desert order was... More

I had been trying to eat here whenever I am in Bath but was never successful so this time I made the effort to reserve a table in advance. I am glad that finally I can try this restaurant that had so much hype. The restaurant is located in the basement and access is by a narrow stairs. Disabled unfriendly... More
