If the name of this restaurant alone isn't enough to make you want to dine here, then we'll eat our Dhaka topi hats. However, in case you need any further incentive – we're delighted to say that this super-cosy establishment is superb. With whitewashed walls and brightly coloured hand-woven cushions, the Nepalese dining room at Yak Yeti Yak in Bath is warm, peaceful, and popular with a fresh-faced crowd who look like they climb mountains just for fun. While - as far as we can tell - there is no actual yeti on the menu, there are plenty of other star attractions such as the Yak Yeti Yak Beef – spicy beef stir-fried with onions, sweet peppers and tomatoes.

Fantastic food and atmosphere

We had a fantastic meal at Yak Yeti Yak. The goat from the specials board was amazing and the elderflower gin cocktails made with homemade syrup were fantastic. Great atmosphere and service as well. Well worth a visit!

Really enjoyed this restaurant. The place has a lovely atmosphere, food service and the food was delicious. We had starters and mains which included meat skewers, dumplings, curry sand dhal. The sauces were delicious, light and fresh and the meat tender. Highly recommended.

We ate here for dinner one night while in Bath. The place is a little tough to find but the food is worth it. You will need a booking or get there early. The said they usually fill up with large groups.

First time we have tried Nepalese food & were pleasantly suprised. The food was tasty but not over spiced. Waiters were helpful with choosing the food. Well worth the visit

It's common for people to frequent London for good Indian food. However, one doesn't go out of their way to head to Bath, England for Nepalese. Well, YOU SHOULD! This place was one of our options for eating late on a Monday night in June, and we are so glad we chose to go in. The drinks were delish, the... More

I am so glad I researched places to eat in Bath, before my visit as you could easily walk past this restaurant. I have never tried Nepalese food, but as my friend is a vegetarian it was a conscious decision to book somewhere that she would have a good choice of dishes. What a treat - small, almost tapas style... More

This below ground restaurant could so easily be passed by without a second glance but, it is my recommendation, you should keep your eyes peeled and make a visit. This great Nepalese restaurant has charm and delivers a hefty punch when it comes to the food it serves up, which was delicious in both starters and mains. When we arrived... More

Me and my wife thought it would be nice to try Nepalese food as both of us have never tried it before. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly. The service was quick and they didn't forget about you. The décor is traditional which enhances the atmosphere and the food was excellent! A must if you are ever in... More

Me and my boyfriend visited Bath for a weekend, and we wanted to try something different. We are sooo glad we did! Mulled wine served all year round for me that's a bonus. The food was delicious and full of flavours I had a cheese starter which was out of this world!!!! And pudding a carrot tart! Beautiful. Definitely worth... More

It was ideal having the cushions for our 6month old to lie on whilst we enjoyed the delicious food. Service was prompt and the overall experience similar to what I imagine Nepalese food and restaurants to be like.
