Description: If the name of this restaurant alone isn't enough to make you want to dine here, then we'll eat our Dhaka topi hats. However, in case you need any further incentive – we're delighted to say that this super-cosy establishment is superb. With whitewashed walls and brightly coloured hand-woven cushions, the Nepalese dining room at Yak Yeti Yak in Bath is warm, peaceful, and popular with a fresh-faced crowd who look like they climb mountains just for fun. While - as far as we can tell - there is no actual yeti on the menu, there are plenty of other star attractions such as the Yak Yeti Yak Beef – spicy beef stir-fried with onions, sweet peppers and tomatoes.

Not very inviting when looking at it from the outside, but don't let that put you off. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the inside which is in the basement is split into different little areas. The staff are very helpful and the service very good. The food is very well cooked and presented and there is plenty of it.... More

My boyfriend and I booked a weekend in Bath and looked to Tripadvisor for advice or where to eat. We decided to go for something completely new and were not disappointed. The staff are friendly (though could possibly offer a more personal approach) and the food is delicious. I did think the menu was quite limited but what we did... More

We had never eaten Nepalese food before but seeing the excellent reviews we thought we would give it a go. We were not disappointed!!!Excellent food, great atmosphere and very reasonably priced. You can sit on the floor or at a table, we chose the table but really liked that it was so traditional. Would highly recommend!

Authentic food in an interesting setting. Descend down some steps and into a festival of food from Nepal. The menu selection had something for everyone and the quality and taste did not disappoint. The buzz from other diners all commenting on the food taste added to the spice aromas and had our taste buds tingling with anticipation. We were not... More

Came here for a birthday as a couple whilst on a short midweek break to bath. We booked a few hours before but when we arrived it was very busy so I would recommend booking in advance. We chose to sit on cushions on the floor just to make a change and would highly recommend it for a more authentic... More

The restaurant is located in a basement in bath, but as you walk down the steps you are greeted by the smell of joss sticks and decor that creates an authentic Nepalese feel to the place. The restaurant consists of a number of cosy little rooms so feel very intimate. The staff were very welcoming and attentive without being in... More

The quirky, jolly name gives a good first impression. It is a bit of a disappointment to find that the restaurant is down in a basement, and is rather dingy and scruffy. A very strong smell of joss sticks or incense greets the diner on entering. We were lucky to get a table without booking at about 6pm, a very... More

Really enjoyed the different tastes of the food here, and the simple variety on offer - not a vast menu but varied. We were too late to book a table, but got a space on the cushions on the floor which we rather enjoyed. The staff were very attentive and helpful. I managed to throw my first drink over myself,... The moment you step inside, you feel like you are in Nepal. Food is great, staff are friendly and their rare Gurka beer on tap is just perfect with the food.

The food is nothing like Indian it's 1000 times better it's raw, natural and so much tastier. No cream or thick sauce to destroy the palette. This restaurant is a much if you come to bath. An absolute gem.
