If the name of this restaurant alone isn't enough to make you want to dine here, then we'll eat our Dhaka topi hats. However, in case you need any further incentive – we're delighted to say that this super-cosy establishment is superb. With whitewashed walls and brightly coloured hand-woven cushions, the Nepalese dining room at Yak Yeti Yak in Bath is warm, peaceful, and popular with a fresh-faced crowd who look like they climb mountains just for fun. While - as far as we can tell - there is no actual yeti on the menu, there are plenty of other star attractions such as the Yak Yeti Yak Beef – spicy beef stir-fried with onions, sweet peppers and tomatoes.

Nice flavours

I like the ghee and herbs based cuisine. Like the dal. Would love to see more vegetarian options. Otherwise, a good food option in Bath.

Very different to your average "curry house" Tibetan food which is a lovely variation on indian. Delicious food, very interesting and enjoyable. The staff were great, the meals were really cooked to order (not the usual "assembly line" you often get with normal indian food. Interesting, different and very tasty

We wanted something a bit different...so decided on here. We could not have been made to feel any more welcome. Everything from start to finish was fantastic. The food was amazing. It was great to try new flavours. The savoury biscuit appetiser came with a spicy dip which was amazeballs😀, so much so, that I asked for a cheeky little... More

We have been here twice now and both experiences have been fantastic. We love the Momos and the Yeti Yak Chicken and Dhalls. The service has been perfect and the food is delicious. If only we lived in Bath we would be regulars.

My wife booked this for my birthday and I have to say its amazing. We stayed at the Abbey Hotel which is literally 1 min walk away. We sat at the low tables (on the floor) which was really good and that food was amazing. I have never had Nepalese food and I have to say it was GREAT! There... More

This restaurant is siutated in a very busy part of Bath and, arriving on spec. we were relieved to be offered a table after finding that several local places were fully booked. It turned out to be very pleasant indeed with good food and service.

We went here on a whim as we were looking for somewhere a little different to eat in Bath. We were not disappointed. We were asked if we would like to sit on the floor, but instead opted for a traditional table. We started with Pork Momos and Polayko Masu - both were absolutely amazing. Worthen followed this with the... More

4 of us visited here for my husbands birthday in January, we'd already seen the reviews on trip advisor & thought it looked good. Having never been to a Nepalese place we thought it would be good to try something new so we also booked a table with the floor cushions. The restaurant itself has quite a cosy feel, where... More

The food was totally delicious and full of flavour. I had the vegetarian set menu which had rice, allona channa, dal, a veggie dish, tomato, yogurt & a popadom (with the best mango chutney I've ever tasted). The place was buzzing on a Friday night & it was a good atmosphere. The staff are really friendly. This is now my favourite... More
