Description: If the name of this restaurant alone isn't enough to make you want to dine...
If the name of this restaurant alone isn't enough to make you want to dine here, then we'll eat our Dhaka topi hats. However, in case you need any further incentive – we're delighted to say that this super-cosy establishment is superb. With whitewashed walls and brightly coloured hand-woven cushions, the Nepalese dining room at Yak Yeti Yak in Bath is warm, peaceful, and popular with a fresh-faced crowd who look like they climb mountains just for fun. While - as far as we can tell - there is no actual yeti on the menu, there are plenty of other star attractions such as the Yak Yeti Yak Beef – spicy beef stir-fried with onions, sweet peppers and tomatoes.

Delicious food,

Tasty food quick service and very helpful staff. I would definitely recommend a visit to this amazing restaurant. One tiny negative for me is the strong smell of incense at the entrance of the restaurant.

We had a little trouble finding this gem of an eatery, it's in a basement, but it was well worth the trouble. The atmosphere reminded us a little of the Nepalese bar in the Indiana Jones movie- you know the one, where his old flame is drinking a local under the table with shots. Intimate and interesting, but quite folksy.... More

We had dinner here and I can't fault it. The food was so tasty. Had pork momos and cauliflower pakoras to start. Pork momos were so nice with a wonderful dipping sauce. Shared the yak yeti and yak chicken and lamb for mains, both so flavoursome, chicken had a lovely refreshing taste to it. Desserts were also gorgeous, beautiful ice... More

Went on monday 16th March was fantastic, had 3 dishes and lentils and poppadoms, 2 drinks and pudding each and was only 50 quid and was lovely. Try the spiced carrot tart, sounds weird but tastes fantastic :)

Went on a busy Friday night, so ended up waiting over 30mins for starters -seared beef was very tasty, momos nice too but falling apart -overcooked? Himalayan Fizz cocktail also tasty. Mains were disappointing however -quite small dishes (much smaller than you'd get in a balti dish/curry house -so not great value) and none of them had the zing, flavour... More

Aside from the great name, the food here was excellent. Never had nepalese food before, and we are converts. Definitely worth a visit when you are in Bath

Four of us visited for a birthday celebration and had a very enjoyable meal. This was our first experience of Nepalese food and we were certainly not disappointed. Will definitely return but for our next meal would probably not have a starter but go for an additional main course.

We have lived in Bath for a year and past this restaurant on the way to the station numerous times. From the outside it looks a little unappealing being in a basement. However once inside it's a different story. Very busy with locals who have obviously discovered it. Great Nepalese food at very reasonable prices. Efficient and friendly service Advised... More

We visited as a group of friends and enjoyed a great meal. This is definitely not your run of the mill Bangladeshi / Pakistani restaurant that pass off as "Indians". It is Nepali cuisine and is a lot different to the normal fare served up by so many others. The food is not as spiced as you may be used... More

Simply divine, the food is incredible and the service decent. I will be going back again and again to this place. The atmosphere in this restaurant is perfect and feels very authentic. If you get the chance and you have a broad pallet, I would recommend.
