Description: If the name of this restaurant alone isn't enough to make you want to dine here, then we'll eat our Dhaka topi hats. However, in case you need any further incentive – we're delighted to say that this super-cosy establishment is superb. With whitewashed walls and brightly coloured hand-woven cushions, the Nepalese dining room at Yak Yeti Yak in Bath is warm, peaceful, and popular with a fresh-faced crowd who look like they climb mountains just for fun. While - as far as we can tell - there is no actual yeti on the menu, there are plenty of other star attractions such as the Yak Yeti Yak Beef – spicy beef stir-fried with onions, sweet peppers and tomatoes.

Excellent meal, all very fresh tasting. We ordered as per their guidelines and had plenty. Gurkha beer was very refreshing. The only part of the meal that was slightly disappointing were the desserts, although that may have been down to personal taste.

Food was nice and hot, but portions were very small. It gives you a guideline as to what to order for a couple, but to purchase all of these plates would have been above our budget. Nice food, but expensive.

Fantastic meal - really could not fault the food at all. Incredibly tasty. I would definitely book this again if I was in Bath again.

Firstly, the food is amazing! The menu is fairly small but that just means that the food that is available is their speciality....and it shows in the taste. From the starters that we ordered all the way through to the tea and coffee at the end (and I highly recommend the chiya tea), we were met with a wide variety... More

We had a dinner there. There were ordered delicious pork dumplings (4 medium pieces), deep fried salmon fish (4 small pieces) as starters, and chicken soup (very big one), rice in typical Nepal style and orange lentils as main courses. Tibet coffee and mulled vine as drinks and for desserts - small apple tart and carrot tartlet. Food was delicious!... More

Lovely warm welcome and really delicious food wrapped in a genuine experience. The waiter kindly responded positively, despite being busy, and moved us to a 'quieter' table (it was December and a large table next to us insisted on competing for who had the loudest voice!!). We ended up sitting near the floor (s is customary) within an area filled... More

My husband and I spent 3 days in Bath for our honeymoon and found this place on a restaurant guide with a map. We phoned for a table an hour before and almost walked past the restaurant as it is in a cellar so quite hard to find. Once inside, the restaurant is quirky with different levels. The staff were... The restaurant itself is very nice, charming and cosy. The staff really make the place amazing. They are so helpful and friendly and we felt very welcome both times we visited. The food is also very good. The momos (Nepali dumplings) are really good, a pity they didn't have them on our second visit, however it made us try the... More
