If the name of this restaurant alone isn't enough to make you want to dine here, then we'll eat our Dhaka topi hats. However, in case you need any further incentive – we're delighted to say that this super-cosy establishment is superb. With whitewashed walls and brightly coloured hand-woven cushions, the Nepalese dining room at Yak Yeti Yak in Bath is warm, peaceful, and popular with a fresh-faced crowd who look like they climb mountains just for fun. While - as far as we can tell - there is no actual yeti on the menu, there are plenty of other star attractions such as the Yak Yeti Yak Beef – spicy beef stir-fried with onions, sweet peppers and tomatoes.

Try for yourself! Very very good but not, somehow, quite excellent.

After a bit of confusion over the email reservation system (it lost us!) we had a really enjoyable meal sitting at the low tables. Good, helpful and attentive service bought pork dumplings (delightful) and cauliflower pakora (not a universal hit). The were washed down by Everest beer and an... read more

Simple dishes but full of flavour, cooked to your spicy heat requirements. Sit at tables or on floor cushions in traditional style. Fascinating décor/objects. Service and cooking by the family who are rightly proud of their restaurant.

Visited this lovely restaurant whilst holidaying in Bath. We didn't book but that wasn't an issue and the staff were extremely welcoming and attentive. Small menu but has everything you want and expect. Also a nice touch to recommend how many of each type of dish you should order based on 2 people. Food served quickly, all fresh and not... More

I am local and have eaten in a lot of restaurants and this one features in my top ten. Great for large groups as you can order a range of dishes to try. Don't forget the chai tea at the end, never tasted a better one.

My partner and I have spent a lot of time in Nepal and love the tastes of Nepalese food. When we saw that Bath had a Nepalese restaurant we were both excited and nervous. Excited because we could eat Nepalese food and nervous because so often "Nepalese" restaurants can disappoint. Fortunately, the Yak Yeti Yak did not disappoint! The food... More

This restaurant offers the chance to enjoy some fantastic Nepalese dishes (a curried goat dish was on the menu when we visited) as well as some great Nepalese beers. Altogether, Yak Yeti Yak offers a unique dining experience, and at approximately £45 for two starters, two mains and a couple of beers, we'll certainly be visiting again.

Decided to give this place a try on my birthday as I'd heard great things. My Yak Yeti Yak chicken was really good as was the Aloo channa (chickpeas and potatos)- I ate far more than I should, it was very filling but too good to waste! Was a little disappointed by the cauliflower Keraw as there wasn't very much... More

Our hotel recommended this place and we were not disappointed. It was our first try of Nepalese food. They asked us how spicy we wanted it, and then when my husband wanted spicier, brought him a dish with extra chilies in it, so they can serve all ranges of mild to spicy.

After reading reviews on here before going to Yak Yeti Yak and almost not going because of them, i wanted to put a review on saying how glad that i didn't take much notice and went anyway. My husband and i had such a lovely chilled out evening. We sat in the back room on the floor cushions, which was... More
