Description: If the name of this restaurant alone isn't enough to make you want to dine here, then we'll eat our Dhaka topi hats. However, in case you need any further incentive – we're delighted to say that this super-cosy establishment is superb. With whitewashed walls and brightly coloured hand-woven cushions, the Nepalese dining room at Yak Yeti Yak in Bath is warm, peaceful, and popular with a fresh-faced crowd who look like they climb mountains just for fun. While - as far as we can tell - there is no actual yeti on the menu, there are plenty of other star attractions such as the Yak Yeti Yak Beef – spicy beef stir-fried with onions, sweet peppers and tomatoes.

This place is down in the basement and at first you wonder what it will be like. Persevere and you will find the staff efficient and the food very good. There were 3 of us and we shared a mixed appetizer plate, 3 mains plus chutney, rice etc and 5 small beers all for 62.90 pounds. We ate well and... More

Went in on a cold Monday night after work..had a very warm welcome..I went for the house white wine, which was very nice, whilst I looked leisurely through the very different menu to the usual eateries. The main course arrived very promptly in a brass bowl and plate, very authentic, along with the relaxed atmosphere and music. The food was... More

We had been let down on our pre-booked restaurant and chose Yak Yeti Yak from previous reviews. We were not disappointed. We had not eaten Nepalese before, but the menu explained everything that was available. The service was very good and the staff friendly and helpful. It is a well positioned restaurant in the centre of Bath and we would... More

First came here on my first ever holiday with my first ever boyfriend, and first time I'd ever had Nepalese - and no other has ever compared to it. Brought my partner, feeling nostalgic and a bit nervous it wasn't all that I remembered it being - and was delighted to find the flavours were still ever bit as incredible... More

A lovely little restaurant close to our Hotel. Never tried this cusine before but really enjoyed it, nicely spiced but not over the top. It was very busy which is always a good sign particularly when you consider the choice in Bath

Dined here with friends on a Friday Night during a weekend visit to Bath. We were very impressed with the fast friendly service and tasty authentic food. If you’re looking for something a bit different then would recommend checking this place out.

What a wonderful break from pub food and typical restaurant food, very authentic and delicious Nepalese food. The food was great, service friendly and fast, beer was cold and the decor is quite eclectic Nepalese, Tibetan.. very good spot.

Enjoyed eating at Yak Yeti Yak. If you have been to Nepal, the restaurant has a very familiar and comforting smell. The food was good, don't go expecting a 'regular' curry or huge portions, you will not be disappointed. We noticed that those without booking were being politely turned away at the door or offered much later sittings, so book... More

9 of us ate here and prebooked a table and food. The staff were extremely helpful to those in the group who had allergies etc. Pleasant quirky little restaurant with nice sized portions and food. We ate on cushions on the floor and found it uncomfortable but that is personal preference. Food is reasonably priced and there is a good... More

In recent years I have spent a great deal of time working in Nepal. On a recent visit to Bath I took my nephew to dinner and chose this restaurant because I am very familiar with the food of Nepal. We enjoyed superb Dal Bhat and Momo's in a truly authentic atmosphere. It really was like being in Pokhara which... More
