Description: If the name of this restaurant alone isn't enough to make you want to dine here, then we'll eat our Dhaka topi hats. However, in case you need any further incentive – we're delighted to say that this super-cosy establishment is superb. With whitewashed walls and brightly coloured hand-woven cushions, the Nepalese dining room at Yak Yeti Yak in Bath is warm, peaceful, and popular with a fresh-faced crowd who look like they climb mountains just for fun. While - as far as we can tell - there is no actual yeti on the menu, there are plenty of other star attractions such as the Yak Yeti Yak Beef – spicy beef stir-fried with onions, sweet peppers and tomatoes.

My son and I dropped into Yak Yeti Yak, early lunchtime on a Thursday in late September - not the height of the tourist season, thankfully. We weren't sure if we fancied Tibetan as an impromptu midweek lunch, but the aromas from the kitchen convinced us. We had plans, and asked if we could return later, and were told they... More

Very poor service. Overpriced wine and OK food. I did like the personal touch in the menu, but overall a disappointing evening.

We welcome constructive criticism it helps us to improve but we are somewhat mystified with your review as it is so vague, the only thing we can comment on is your statement that our wine is expensive. We have wines in different price brackets including house wine at under £2.50 a glass, cheaper than most pubs and significantly cheaper than... More

I went to Yak Yeti Yak with my husband and had the most wonderful experience! We absolutely LOVED the atmosphere and the food! We chose to sit on the floor, which turned out to be super romantic! We will definitely be returning on future visits!

This was the most delicious good ever! So so good- but a few reviews had said it was cheap- it isn't. But it's really worth it. The starters were amazing. We had lamb and the momo. The main curry portions are quite little so go for it with 3 or 4 plus a Dahl between 2 people if you are... More

Most restaurants were fully booked on Saturday evening, including yak yeti yak, having said this, the kind welcoming staff squeezed us in. We had a great experience, and the food was simply delicious. Can't wait to go back!

Have been many times to Yak Yeti Yak and keep coming back! Fantastic food, great atmosphere and terrific staff. We especially love the floor cushions and cute little tables. Not bad value either and the set menu portions are wonderful!

A bit like the last reviewer we were intending to go to an alternative restaurant which, as it happens, was fully booked. En route to Southgate we passed this place, stopped to look at the menu and were told by someone on the street that the food was excellent. We popped downstairs and checked if there was a table for... More

We went to this restaurant as we were originally going to try an Italian but stumbled across this and as we had never had Nepalese decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed. My husband had a lamb starter which was incredibly tender with a chutney that complimented it nicely and my chicken dish was an assortment... More

Not very inviting when looking at it from the outside, but don't let that put you off. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the inside which is in the basement is split into different little areas. The staff are very helpful and the service very good. The food is very well cooked and presented and there is plenty of it.... More

My boyfriend and I booked a weekend in Bath and looked to Tripadvisor for advice or where to eat. We decided to go for something completely new and were not disappointed. The staff are friendly (though could possibly offer a more personal approach) and the food is delicious. I did think the menu was quite limited but what we did... More
