Description: If the name of this restaurant alone isn't enough to make you want to dine...
If the name of this restaurant alone isn't enough to make you want to dine here, then we'll eat our Dhaka topi hats. However, in case you need any further incentive – we're delighted to say that this super-cosy establishment is superb. With whitewashed walls and brightly coloured hand-woven cushions, the Nepalese dining room at Yak Yeti Yak in Bath is warm, peaceful, and popular with a fresh-faced crowd who look like they climb mountains just for fun. While - as far as we can tell - there is no actual yeti on the menu, there are plenty of other star attractions such as the Yak Yeti Yak Beef – spicy beef stir-fried with onions, sweet peppers and tomatoes.

Unusual and well worth a try

We'd never eaten Nepalese before but really enjoyed it. The service was great, and very fast for a busy Saturday night. The food was lovely

great food, great staff and a great experience - unusual place and a unique experience for us. We went with a Ghurka and I recommend a local to help choose. It was very hot but a lot of fun!

We were recommended this by the owner of the local hotel that we stayed at in Bath. Sort of Nepalese food, I think. We all enjoyed all the dishes and would definitely revisit.

Good Nepalese food. Very popular so book. It has a little courtyard, so when hot worth booking as it's a very hot restaurant. You need to be able to climb down steep stairs to the basement, not for someone who has trouble with stairs.

We had a great lunch here today. Cheeseballs to start with, two veggie curries, rice, dahl, yogurt and pickle for main, apple tart and lassi for pud. We loved it all. Really tasty but not too hot (we were asked if we wanted it hot or not and we asked for mild - so nice to have the option). Our... More

We were lucky to get a table without booking (it is clearly a popular place) and enjoyed a delicious and flavoursome meal at budget cost. The best way we could describe the flavours was that they were like delicate and fragrant Indian dishes, but with a twist of their own. Everything was very tasty but we particularly liked the veg... I've never eaten Nepalese before, and frankly chose this place on the pun in the name. Dad jokes FTW! Warm greeting, eating on my own, not a problem. Decent menu selection, they came to take my order quite quickly, then offered me a choice of table switch as i was sat near a big party and a quiet one came... More

A friend and I popped in for a late lunch and enjoyed some of the best chow mein we've ever had along with some delicious beef. Excellent flavours and great service. A little pricey for the portion size, but still reasonable.

We first came here five years ago and it is still as good. Excellent, fresh authentic food and well price drinks. Always great value.

We found this little gem, just walking by and were attracted by the name. We loved the food although the portions were small.
