Description: If the name of this restaurant alone isn't enough to make you want to dine here, then we'll eat our Dhaka topi hats. However, in case you need any further incentive – we're delighted to say that this super-cosy establishment is superb. With whitewashed walls and brightly coloured hand-woven cushions, the Nepalese dining room at Yak Yeti Yak in Bath is warm, peaceful, and popular with a fresh-faced crowd who look like they climb mountains just for fun. While - as far as we can tell - there is no actual yeti on the menu, there are plenty of other star attractions such as the Yak Yeti Yak Beef – spicy beef stir-fried with onions, sweet peppers and tomatoes.

The food is nothing like Indian it's 1000 times better it's raw, natural and so much tastier. No cream or thick sauce to destroy the palette. This restaurant is a much if you come to bath. An absolute gem.

We tried it as we liked the idea of something new and an independent restaurant. It was so good we went two nights on the trot. Take advice from the menu in the number of dishes for two. The fella likes meat, I wanted some veg so we had two of each and we loved all of them. Good orange... More

This is the answer to all those who think Nepalese food is just like Indian. Very delicate flavours, very well cooked dishes an delicious food. Certainly a place to visit if you're in Bath.

I saw this as being recommended and wanted to try it out, had never had nepalese and wanted something different. It is located down stairs in a basement dont let that turn you off, its fully decorated restaurant with atmosphere that takes you into another culture. The staff were great, service was quick, food was tasty but on a small... More

My husband booked this restaurant as a surprise for our wedding anniversary, as we had been to Nepal for our honeymoon. As soon as we arrived on a busy Saturday night, we were given a very warm welcome and made to feel very comfortable. When we were taken to our table, it was nicely positioned far enough away from others,... More

I wasn't sure what to expect as I wasn't familiar with Nepalese cuisine and I don't like my food very spicy. I needn't have worried. When you order they ask whether you like mild, medium or very spicy and the delicious dish is prepared according to your request. Staff are very friendly and helpful. My husband and I both loved... My partner & I had lunch here whilst on a trip to Bath. It's set in a basement with a lovely courtyard. We opted to sit on the cushions for a real Nepalese experience. The 3 course set lunch was reasonable for £10 each and tasted great. The cocktails were fab at around £5. I would recommend this restaurant.
