Lovely restaurant with interesting food & delightful staff

We enjoyed everything here - I felt I chose well- which helps. I had the asparagus and broad bean salad - without the Parma ham, which didn't seem to be any loss. Great quality ingredients beautifully combined. Husband enjoyed his meze, though I wasn't quite so impressed by my tastes of it. He... read more

A little gem of a restaurant!!! Seated in a cute little spot, felt very much like we were on our holidays!! Service was exceptional from start to finish! Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were very attentive, ensuring we enjoyed our food and wine throughout our meal. Food was gorgeous, my lamb was cooked to perfection, pink and... More

From the outside this looks like a small pretty establishment. Downstairs is a lovely restaurant which sold gorgeous food. The staff were lovely and prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this establishment 👍 🍴

Restaurant recommended by our hotel, excellent food, with varied choice of course, using fresh and imaginative ingredients ‘to complement each dish, great service and value for money , two thirds cheaper than our cancelled meal at the hotel

We visited for an evening meal on a bank holiday Monday. Although the restaurant was full the service was very good. Lots of choice, lots of flavour and large portions of food. We loved it. Luckily we had booked in advance!

We try to eat here whenever we come to Bath. We have had dinner and afternoon tea here in the last. This time we were here for lunch. We are always impressed by this restaurant/cafe. This isn't fine dining, but the meals are well above the average, and reasonably priced. Our party picked a good selection from the menu, and... More

For the past 5 years after being diagnosed Coeliac our evenings out for a meal have to be Gluten Free for me. A weekend in Bath I started to explore which I tend to do where ever we are going being in the UK or abroad. A hotel recommended The Circus, I rang and checked they could cater for Gluten... More

Had a lovely evening meal at the Circus Cafe and Restaurant while visiting Bath the other weekend. The restaurant has a lovely friendly ambience and it was particularly nice sitting in the window and watching the world go by. The food was excellent with a nice selection of dishes from around the world utilising local, fresh ingredients. We started by... More

The Circus is a special restaurant emphasizing creative menus with fresh, local ingredients. Located near the "circus" or famed circle of Georgian homes in Bath, it's easy to reach on foot if you are staying in or near the city center. ( I highly recommend Grays Boutique B& B!) What's delicious meal and friendly, attentive staff. They helped me choose dinner... More

We enjoyed our meal in this restaurant. The food was lovely, the wine was very drinkable and not too pricey. The waiting staff were very informative and attentive. The only negative is that the tables are a bit small. The bill at the end of the evening was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant but remember to book... More
