Description: Tagine Zhor is an authentic Moroccan restaurant run by the Casablancan...
Tagine Zhor is an authentic Moroccan restaurant run by the Casablancan Moroccan born owner. He takes pride in his Fez cuisine because it is based on traditional recipes that have been passed down from his loving Fez born grandmother "zhor" to him. It is the only finest Moroccan restaurant in Bath and probably in the whole South West of England. The perfect place to experience real Moroccan food cooked and served in a distinctive and traditional manner together with genuine warm hospitality in absolute beautiful Moroccan surroundings. Most meals begin with the simple selection of hot and cold mezze which might include hommos, Olives and Baba Ghannouj served with flat bread. The Tagine may come next served with Cous Cous, rice or Bread. It is a stew made of lamb, Chicken, Fish, Beef, kofta and Basilla. A single plate of dessert will usually consist of baklawas . They are sweet pastries dripping in honey or dusted in icing sugar marks the end of the meal before fresh mint tea or Arabic coffee are served. Do not forget to take a seat on outdoor terrace and enjoy the Shisha pipe and its flavour of tobacco. Also pay a visit to our gem Bazaar Shop downstairs featuring beautiful and unique handmade Moroccan items "great idea for gifts"

It's my first time in a Moroccan Restaurant and I loved it. They had flat bread on the Menu but they served Pita which is not really good but anyway...The nibbles, Baba Ghanoush and the main, Duck Confit Tagine were amazing!! The duck was perfectly cooked and tasted very good.

The food was absolutely amazing...such a depth of flavour. My partner had the lamb tagine and I had the mezze with kings prawns - both dishes were authentic Moroccan food. Fabulous and attentive service. if you have room try the cinnamon waffle for desert!!

We came upon this lovely restaurant whilst on a stroll around Bath on our weekend break. I am so glad we did. Lovely decoration within and a very warm and welcoming feel to the place. We were given a table by the window lit by candles. The service was great as we went early and virtually had the place to... More

The food was quite nice if alittle pricy. The waiter rushed us through the meal even though there was only two other tables in use.

Incredible Moroccan food. Me and my friend shared a cold mezze and a (very large) lamb tagine with couscous, with mint tea and baklava for desert, it was so delicious. The service is friendly and efficient, I will visit again next time I am in Bath.

Went here for a meal with my daughter before her uni interview . Food was great - no problem giving advice and reassurance for her nut allergy- menu is clearly labelled. The warm pitta and ravine bread were the best we've ever had

I stumbled across Tagine Zhor whilst on my own on a trip to Bath. I was looking for someone to dine alone and it looked so inviting from the outside, lots of lanterns and fairy lights and blankets to snuggle up in outside for the smokers. I received a very warm welcome and was offered a nice table by the... More

We enjoyed a delicious meal- we shared a starter if hummus and baba ganoush with fresh pitta. I had vegetarian couscous- delicious variety of veg and couscous and my sister enjoyed chicken Pastilla. Fresh mint tea and some shared back lava made a lovely end to the meal. We did book in advance and just as well as it was... More

We booked this the day before as we walked past and liked the look of it. We requested a window table and was pleased when we got one. The service is friendly and they are happy to advice and explain the menu. We chose the set dinner menu at £22pp. The mezze starter was great and we had the lamb... More
