I ate there mid-week alone on a business trip just to keep body and soul together. I tried the Sahararain red wine, and the Tagine a la Maison. The wine had varied and interesting flavours, which surprised me a little as I know nothing of Maghrebi vinery husbandry. The Tagine a la Maison was served in 3 platters - one... More

It started with the interior - it made me feel like I suddenly stepped into an old Moroccan house. Menu was all Moroccan and from the best kitchen - I visited Morocco twice didn't find better food there. And downstairs there is little gift shop.... Charming! Service was warm and we felt like visiting friends for dinner.

I went to this restaurant last night. Good points - The place is lovely and you can sit outside. The menu looked great with lots of veg options. However I could not be more disappointed. I ordered the mezze which was around £8.90 for a small plate and one slice of pitta bread. It included one olive, one falafel (which... More

Would definitely recommend a visit to this restaurant if you're in Bath! Less than 5 mins walk from Bath Abbey, the food was very authentic and wasn't customized, which is what we loved about this place.

I have never had Moroccan food, but my friend convinced me to try this restaurant with her. She had a vegetarian starter and a lamb main dish. I had chicken skewers. They were very tasty as were the sauces. The owner and waiter were both helpful in answering our questions. The decor was very tasteful and seemed authentic. Highly recommend.

My wife and I are vegetarians, and the Cafe du Globe had a wide variety of selections for us. The food was excellent, and the decor was also top notch; I believe everything had come from Morocco, and it felt very northern African throughout the restaurant. The service was also superb, with the owner serving us for most of the... More

We were looking for something different and stopped in for lunch at Cafe Du Globe. The restaurant was empty and still it took the one man there a while to take our orders. Luckily we weren't in a hurry. The food was tasty although some accompaniments were very spicy. I think it was the owners brother that was there and... More

A warm and friendly little restaurant. Loved the prawn starter and the Lamb Tagine. The owner was very helpful with advising on the different dishes available. Would go again.
