Saturday evening meal

Booked an early table. Were served lovely gin and tonics in the bar area and were given a lovely table for 2. We both had the Arbroath Smokies and chips and it was delicious, as was the dessert and wine. A place worth a visit for sure, thanks.

First visit here and want to go back. Very well looked after from the moment we walked in the door. Really good selection of starters/mains and desserts. Also choices for non fish lovers including steaks. Had a lovely waiter called Lochlan who was happy to advise on the best way to cook our fish choice and accompanying sauce. Make sure... More

Booked in advance but had to wait 40 minutes to be seated. Offered a Bottle of wine to compensate. Starter was average but cold. Party of 6, only 3 ate main course as when it arrived it was 10.45 and only three of the six dishes were served as the waitress got the order wrong. Again given drinks to compensate.... More

Great service, lovely choice of food and opted for a full Scottish breakfast. Lovely coffee, beautiful surroundings, what's not to love? Cannot be faulted.

My wife and I invariably visit Bath once a year (usually, as was the case this year, around her birthday) and our usual choice for an evening meal is the Loch Fyne restaurant. The food is always very good and, in our experience, the service is attentive and friendly. This year, rather than phoning to make a reservation, I decided... More

Visited on Sunday lunchtime & ordered the set 2 course lunch. The soup was cold and the service was slow even though it was not very busy, so I couldn't be bothered to complain & then have to wait ages for it to be rectified. Main course (fish) was good, however. Will think twice before we visit again. Disappointing!

I have been to many LF restaurants around the country and have to say this one is exceptional. It was my birthday and I was looking forward to Fruit du Mer or as LF call it, the sea food platter but I do belive they should change it to Fruite du Mer. We called the venue to check that they... More

Our second night of a 3 Day visit to Bath we decided to try Loch Fyne. We now think this is their best restaurant , a beautiful old building tastefully laid out . Our food is was excellent for a mid range company . My wife had the smoked haddock topped with a poached egg and I plumped for the... More
