Excellent Food

There was a good choice of good food and friendly service. Thouroughly recommended if a little expensive.

Loch Fyne serves high quality wines and beers and, obviously, excellent quality seafood. It is therefore on the expensive side of dining, but you really do get what you pay for here. It was my first time here last week (end of August) and it's almost hard to say which was better out of the food and the service. Everyone... More

We visited using there offer menu £12.95 for two courses and a glass of house wine, we were given the offer menu and the main menu, there was not a lot of choice on the offer menu so we asked that if we paid more and we were not concerned how much extra this would have been could we have... More

As the name suggest the focus here is fish although there are alternatives. Even the fish and chips came with a choice of species which was excellent. Short wine list had some interesting choices.

Having always had fantastic meals at this Branch when we arrived we saw the restaurant had been refurbished beautifully to a high standard. However the food was disappointing from what we had experienced in the past. My husband had the razor clams and chorizo starter. The clams were so tiny and had been chopped very small that they were hardly... More

We are hotel owners and take Monday afternoon off to have lunch, often in Wells. We have often contemplated going into Loch Fyne, but usually felt under dressed. When we finally did we found that it is a very comfortable beautifully appointed space in a former bank building. The service was impeccable and the food outstanding. I love sea food... More

My husband and I stopped here for lunch whilst shopping in Bath on a day trip and we found the décor and atmosphere to be very nice. We chose to dine from the lunch set menu and enjoyed the food we ordered - service was good and all of the staff were very helpful and lovely and ensured that we... More

Returning to Bath after a few years we were delighted to find that the cuisine was still of a high standard and the staff were friendly, obliging and helpful. They even got my husband's off the wall humour! We had just been to Rick Stein's restaurant in Padstow for a special anniversary and the food was pretty well on a... More

Had an enjoyable lunch with colleagues. Not the best.... In fact I cooked the exact same recipe at home a couple of weeks ago and would say mine was better.... The fish skin was not crispy... And in my opinion should have been removed and there were large bones... I expect a bit more attention to detail based on my... More
