Good food, good service

Ate here with friends, one of whom has a number of food intolerances. Staff were not phased and helpful. Food was good quality and well presented. French Sauvignon Blanc wine was excellent. A good experience. My only minor gripe was being charged for small amount a bread- seemed a bit miserly given... read more

I called and made a reservation mentioning my mothers deafness and sot eh necessity of sitting in a corner table or at least against the wall to help her hear better. We were greeted like long lost friends on arrival and taken to a superb table meaning that we could all enjoy the evening hassle free. The food suggestions from... More

I had booked online so when we were met at the door, a most enthusiastic chap met us checked the booking and offered any seat for two in the restaurant. He explained the menus and advised who our waiter was to be. We decided to eat off the a la carte rather than the lunch time value menu. My wife... More

Have eaten here a few times, last couple slightly disappointing. Initial greeting was formal rather than friendly but waitress was friendly and efficient. Lovely room and quite busy on a Wed night. Have found before that you can wait half an hour for a first course as was the case again ( the waitress had a lot of tables to... More

We visit Bath quite often and have been meaning to eat here so made a point of booking in advance of our last trip. We were greeted by friendly staff and seated right next to the open kitchen. To be honest, watching the chefs run around the busy kitchen wasn't our idea of a pleasant night out! (We eat out... More

After touring in Bath, we looked for a restaurant in the early evening. Several other restaurants apparently only serve lunch, so we had to walk around to find a good place. We are glad that we found Loch Fyne. It had numerous choices for fish, and, compared to other similar restaurants in London, was reasonably priced. The food was cooked... More

We were in Bath for the weekend but booked a few weeks before to ensure getting a table. Lovely building which was formally a bank, amazing high ceiling with imposing marble pillars. There is a seating area as you go in, we were meeted and greeted as soon as we arrived and shown to a great table in front of... More

As always made very welcome and seated quickly . Open view in to the kitchen , just did not seem to have enough staff on the floor for a filling restaurant. My partner had a complaint about first course and was very quickly addressed and resolved . overall the food was good and to normal Loch Fyne standards

We had not been since the refurbishment but had been just before when we received an excellent service and excellent food. This time we had the problem of being ignored after first being seated. The waitresses kept walking past on apparently random errands but eventually a waiter took some interest in taking our order - or even asking what we... More

Decided to pop in for lunch. Seated and then given a stiff ignoring. We were not even asked if we would like a drink. Why is it so hard to find decent customer service?
