Sunday Lunch

Wanting to offer our Granddaughter (13) a new dining experience and being in Taunton in the morning I booked a table for 3 people at 2:30pm. We arrived exactly at 2:30 and showed our reservation only to be told to take a seat in the waiting area and when a table became free we would be shown to... read more

So so. The food was not fresh. We returned the mussels. The steak was old. The service was slow. Would not recommend

Our Daughter lives in Bath so we left it to her to pick a restaurant for lunch when we went up to visit the weekend. She had been to this restaurant before and wanted us to try it. We were not disappointed. It's mainly a seafood restaurant but steak was on the menu. We had various starters from Mint and... More

The food is ok, but even if your going there on a special offer they have so many additional charges that it gets expensive quickly The building was originally a Victorian Bank. So the ceilings are very high and the acoustics a bit overwhelming..

This restaurant is clean, open and modern. The service was very friendly and relaxing although it was slow. The chef was creative and seafood was quite fresh. We enjoyed the Scottish trout, cod as well as oysters to start. The bread was just okay for being served with a charge. Overall I would recommend and say it is worth the... More

I have always been pleased with the many different Loch Fynes I have visited, However, here the staff weren't very friendly or very attentive and the restaurant was very quiet.

I eat out in the Bath area about three times a week. Seldom do I have cause to complain. I called into Lochfyne Bath, about 8:30 pm today Monday. We had not booked and they were busy. We were asked to wait and sat down. Another couple were already waiting and went to their table when it was ready. During... More

Had a delicious meal out at Loch Fyne today. This chain of restaurants have always been some of my favourites. Had booked a table for 1:30 but Bath was really busy today and we ended up waiting over half an hour just to be seated which is not really acceptable when we booked a couple of weeks ago. However, we... More

We have visited Loch Fyne on a Tuesday evening, after looking for the best fish restaurants in Bath online. I have to say that the oysters were really tasty and fresh. Also our waitress, Alex, was really friendly, and attentive. We had the fish platter with lobster for main which is totally worth it.

This is a restaurant that, as the name suggests, serves mainly fish dishes although there are some meat choices available. The menu prides itself on serving dishes with a Scottish theme, and most of the ingredients are sourced from Scotland. The menu choices are not of a great variety and what is available is of a high standard. My choice,... More
