We went in here staring hungry and ordered the pasta special. Unfortunately only one serving was available but the other party ordered a jacket spud and that looked good. The pasta dish was ideal and for Bath, the prices are very reasonable. I found the staff helpful and friendly as well.

In the last 5 days have been twice now. Nothing disappoints in the manner in which you are looked after , and we shall continue to visit when we go to Bath from Bristol . Bravo mes amis , and keep up the good work.

When I visit my daughter who lives in Bath we always head straight for Cafe Retro as our preferred venue for catching up. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food is always excellent and arrives promptly and the prices are very reasonable. A lovely place with a good atmosphere to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the... More

Retro or an excuse for 'shabby chic'. I find the plastic table cloth type of image disappointing. The food was average and the waitress I had most unhelpful. Maybe I should try again?

Three of us went here on 25th June. The restaurant downstairs was busy so we went upstairs were we were met by our waitress and a man who we now know to be the owner Mark. A warm welcome was extended. We were shown to a nice table. One of our party asked for a gluten free retro sandwich. 'No... More

We dropped in here for a quick lunch on arriving in Bath, and all went for soup of the day (home made, filling and very tasty) and a smoothy (absolutely gorgeous). We got served very quickly, which was great as we only had a few hours to get round the Roman Baths before they closed. Well worth a visit if... More

Had my very first cream tea and it was to die for! Also had their soup of the day, which was delicious. Would recommend this place for a late breakfast or a light lunch.

We arrived as a party of 10, there wasn't room for us all to sit together but the staff promptly rearranged the tables to accommodate us. Excellent service and fantastic, good quality food that was good value for money.

Perfect for a quick lunch. We visited here after doing a long walking tour of Bath. The food is homely and comforting and very tasty! Service was fantastic..we were noticed as soon as we walked through the door. Highly recommend if you want a bite to eat in between sight seeing.

Went here for our anniversary brunch, I'm a vegetarian and wasn't disappointed with the amount of selection on the menu! When the food arrived it was decent portions and great yummy food!! Will definitely revisit!!
