Interesting menu with some twists, wide choice, and excellent and smiling service. Food quality was, as always, very good and portion size substantial for the hearty eaters.
We went on a Monday night expecting the place to be empty and whilst it wasn't packed it was busy enough to have atmosphere. We ate downstairs and chose to share a variety of small dishes starting with the plank of cold meats which was delicious. My husband ordered bread, sadly there was only white but that didn't detract from... More
The food, service and ambiance in Tilleys is great. The brown Devon Crab Soup is to die for and the main courses do not disappoint. 10 out of 10 for our meal.
We had looked forward to visiting Tilley's for some time, however, upon entering on Sunday afternoon we soon decided not to bother. I have visited Tilleys for the second time, this time with family. It was a busy Saturday night with the Christmas market heaving outside, but Tilleys was a tranquil oasis. The lady who sorted out our booking on the phone couldn't have been more helpful. When we arrived the place was incredibly busy. The staff were lovely but seemed rather harassed/stressed. We had to wait about 15 minutes for our pre-booked table....and someone from tilleys called me two hours later to ask if I was turning up! After waiting to... More
Hadn't been to Tilleys in a while as there are so many restaurants in Bath to choose from and we only visit Bath a few times a year but I am really glad we returned as we had a lovely evening. The service is what I would call relaxed so if you want to grab a quick bite to eat... More
We ate at this Bistro for an early evening meal. We had a special offer of 2 courses for £13.95 from a reduced menu. Service was very good and very friendly and helpful. Food was really good and tasty. The establishment is sort of 2 rooms each with their own group of tables etc. This is a great place for... More
