We had a great meal in this friendly, family-run restuarant, which has loads of character, but remains a nice medium-sized place that's not overwhelming. We were part of a large party that was catered for well, with good food at a fair price.

Me and my partner ate here recently in the evening. We were really disappointed after reading such glowing reviews it was a massive disappointment! We literally can't comprehend how this is ranked so highly in restaurants in Bath. We were seated immediately with reservations which was brilliant however we didn't get our drinks order taken for over half an hour.... More

Saturday lunchtime is quite busy so we booked in advance tobe sure of a table. We arrived earlier than our booked time but received a very friendly welcome and given a choice of eating upstairs or downstairs. My wife chose downstairs and we were shown to our table. There was a long list of specials, mostly fish and I chose... More

We had a lovely meal at this restaurant. It was bustling and most of the staff were good. The food was really good and the desserts were to die for. Difficult to say which was best. They were lots of gluten free dishes and it was great to able to get coeliac friendly food. I would really recommend this restaurant.

It really is worth a visit to this charming Bistro in the center of Bath. Very clever and varied menu where you can choose to have several starter size dishes or opt to have a single starter and a main. Our party of six all had trouble choosing their meals because there were so many things they wanted to try,... More

Anyone with a special diet struggles with restaurants and seldom gets a choice. Tilley's could not have been more helpful. Excellent meal including soup (my wife almost never gets soup) and a dessert (it wasn't fruit or sorbet- wow!) and that was on the early evening limited menu. My regular menu choices were very good as well.

If you are in the Bath area you must try this restaurant. Reservations may be necessary but we walked in at 8:30 pm and got seated right away. The food (French?) was excellent. There are two ways to order supper. You can order 3 tapas (appetizers) or maybe one tapa and a main course. I recommend the 3 tapas since... More

We sat downstairs at tilleys in the basement and the room was full of ambience and romance. Great wine on offer and the food was incredible... we ordered 3 tapas dishes to start between 2 of us (£5-8ish per dish) and then followed by a huge steak and trimmings (the most expensive large dish at £23)! We enjoyed the service,... More
