The Best

The food is the best I've found for miles. Service is always friendly! Although it is priced at the higher end of the spectrum, the food surpasses the price. If your looking for a cosy, classy dining experience be sure to visit, I would however not recommend this to anyone with no intentions to... read more

Busy and fun on a Saturday night after the rugby. Food was ok, wasn't that hot when it arrived but side orders were good.

This restaurant has won many awards. I have eaten there many times and never have been disappointed. The food is spiced delicately. Staff are always friendly and give good service. Recommended.

Booked on the day ( Saturday ) - the fact that there was availability should have been a warning sign! Arrived on time - welcomed to the bar where we were presented with menus and drink orders taken. Ok. Looking around - tired, dated and rather dirty decor. A visit to the toilets confirmed that the hygiene in this place... More

Hello, Your comments were noted, but may I say that some or all of it I would disagree with, the decor is in its original form which our customers admire very much. Toilets: Cleanliness, after and during a busy Saturday night you would expect some dirt or some water on the floor its normal. Food: If you say unauthentic, to... More

Went to this restaurant for a birthday dinner which has apparently won an award for the best food restaurant in 2014. Not sure who is handing out these awards but it certainly was not award winning. The atmosphere was too formal, and food very bland. We both have terrible stomach issues today! The chapatis tasted stale and food definitely not... More

Went here with a friend I don't see very often, to catch up on our news and expecting an enjoyable lunch, however the restaurant was very quiet, only one other table in use, but ok perhaps as it was Sunday lunchtime this may be expected. We felt very unwelcome and almost too much of a bother for the waiters, whose... More

The "poot" was a former favourite when my partner and I were based in Bath, and on a recent return visit, we just had to go back to see if it was as good as we remembered. And it was very good, if not quite to the same standard as some our more recent favourites. My chilli garlic chicken was... More

First visited here in 1985 and have been many times since then. Over that time very little has changed which is great as each time the Rajpoot has given us high quality, tasty food at reasonable prices. Pros - Great choices on the menu with good vegetarian options - Good value - Perfect location No cons that I can think... More

The Rajpoot was recommended by our hotel and how right they were. I fail to recognise the poor reviews here. The menu was extensive and included several items that were new to us. My husband had jhal nahpuri which he said was subtly spiced with a chilli heat that crept up on you. The lamb in my kalia was so... More

I enjoyed a lovely family meal at Rajpoot's on February the 2nd for my Dads birthday. Having been to the resturant numerous times we were greeted with the same friendly service as always, being recognised by many of the staff. The food was served quickly and was delicious as ever. The staff are always extremely polite and couldn't be more... More
