Great location! Fancy Atmosphere!

Located right beside the Roman Baths Museum and the Bath Abbey, the location of the Pump Room is perfect. My family stopped in for lunch, and we left the restaurant thoroughly satisfied. It is quite a fancy place, however, so I felt obligated to raise my pinky finger as I was sipping my tea. The... read more

Fantastic place to soak up the atmosphere of Georgian Bath in style! We had a traditional Bath bun with cinnamon butter & coffee whilst enjoying the beautiful trio of musicians on a grand piano, violin & cello! Gorgeous surroundings, attentive service & delicious food - what more can you want? This is a fabulous place and worth a visit without... More

Think the food looks better than the taste the presentation is outstanding but just lacks that something. The building sure makes up for it as is quite something to be eating in such a stunning Georgian building.

The beautiful Pump Room with relaxing piano musical accompaniment, on no other than a Steinway, provides the perfect backdrop for a sophisticated experience that has been an institution since 1795, and was at the very heart of Georgian high society and a very fashionable place to be seen. Superb service, wonderful food with fantastic ingredients and all at superb prices... More

Had booked a table for afternoon tea on a Thursday in the school easter holidays but people coming in on the off chance didn't appear to have too long a wait. Enjoyed a champagne afternoon tea, maybe a little pricey for the amount that you receive but you only live once! Nice savoury and sweet selection of food and all... More

We went on the city tour bus and the guide suggested we visit the Pump Room to try the water, we were told it wasn't nice but try it as it is said to have healing powers. Now I kid you not that my wife had a tickley cough that keeps us both awake every night so we went, more... More

Finding the Fountain wasn't very obvious, since it is within a restaurant that takes reservations. There's a side entrance you can get to it, and once you do, you can ask a server to give you a glass of the "healing" waters. It tastes a little strange, and very warm. It is supposed to be full of minerals and things,... More

Visited this week for pancake brunch. Looked shop bought and were barely warm. I was informed they had been freshly made that morning. I also queried the maple syrup as looked like golden syrup and did not taste like maple though apparently it was! Waitress happy to change my order and the bacon in the brioche roll was lovely. Partner... More

No view unless you stand up to drink your coffee. The coffee and cakes menu needs to be reviewed. It's poor. Again just a tourist conveyor belt. They need to realise how tourists are treated elsewhere and step up to the plate.
