Good value, tasty food

Two of us needed a simple and, ideally, quick lunch. This almost fitted the bill. The salmon fishcakes were excellent and so was the cake we had to finish with. But we decided not to order any coffee, despite this being a cafe. Service had been too slow.

My wife and I dropped in for her to have a coffee and me a freshly squeezed orange juice. We ended up having lunch and my wife croque Monsieur ham and cheese sandwich was the best we had ever tasted. The service was fantastic and I think it will become a regular place for coffee! Well more!

As its title suggests, the cheeses were very well prepared here. Portions were slightly smaller than an average British lunch but sometimes the best food comes in the smallest quantities. The servers were decently attentive and the food was not overpriced. A must-go for any hungry traveler to Bath.

Stopped over in Bath on our way home. Found this little cafe opposite the Hilton Hotel where we had parked. We sat outside and had tea and coffee and a pastry. The prices are average. It you like cheese this is the place to come to. Beautifully displayed and very clean.

I haven't been here for lunch in a while but always remember how delicious and creative the food was. Beautiful and colourful roasted vegetable salads, zesty and spicy paella was what I remember. I have walked past on occasion and seen that the menu had become a bit more 'classic'. Or trying to be at least, which has in all... More

After visiting the fine cheese company with relatives of mine, we were all left feeling extremely disappointed with such poor costumer service. We had a very cold and 'I don't care', welcome by a young woman behind the till. She preceded to glare in such a rude manner that it left us all feeling very unwelcome. The menu and the... More

Myself and my parents visited this cafe in Bath and found the staff, one in particular, to be very rude and unwelcoming. She glared at us from beneath her eyebrows, with a disconcerting pout and a can't be bothered attitude. The cheese was lovely, although the produce was expensive. However, I was disgruntled paying anything after being glared at by... More

This is a wonderful place to eat. Lunches are exquisite and the cheese shop which is part of it is a haven for cheese lovers. For me the best bit was the choice and quality of the cakes. I ended ip having NYC style cheesecake and my family had chocolate fudge cake and passion cake. All were outstanding. Looking forward... More

Loved the whole experience of the cheese and charcuterie platter accompanied by a glass or 2 of red wine. A must for cheese lovers experiencing the vast choice of cheeses,
