Perfect for Ladies who lunch

Delightful experience at Baths finest little gem. I highly recommend the daily changing soup, along with their excellent salads. There cheese selections are superb. Not only are there lunches excellent, but their breakfasts are equally as pleasing. I don't know of anywhere in Bath where you can... read more

i have finally lost patience with this place, and that's rather a travesty. I love the cheese shop, with its very fine selection of cheeses and expert assistance in choosing. I also love the cafe. It is pretty and the food is absolutely delicious. I went there yesterday, and after having spent thirty pounds on cheese, I went next door... More

Called in last Friday when Bath was busy. Charming appearance, attractive deli/cheese counter. Average service, good food served in lovely china, poor cappuccino appeared to be made in a hurry, expensive. Would go elsewhere if back in Bath...there's no lack of alternatives.

We started our day of Christmas shopping with a good breakfast here. I had poached eggs on sourdough toast - very tasty and my friend's sausage ciabatta was delicious - good quality sausages. We also bought some cheese while we were here, the staff are really helpful and friendly.

From outside you wouldn't realise there are further rooms of tables and chairs, so don't be put off if it looks busy. Dining here is a treat due to the wonderful choice and quality of their offerings. I've dined at lunchtime and had the roasted butternut squash, feta, seeds and spinach salad. It was lovely and filling and priced at... More

We were quickly seated at a table but then forgotten all about. Had to ask for someone to take our order. Then had to remind them we'd ordered. Eventually coffee arrived. Had to go and remind them that we'd also ordered cake to go with our now cold coffee. They had forgotten. Too long later the cake arrived which was... More

We have been here a few times for lunch when visiting bath and have had a good experience on all occasions. Normally it's busy and tables are full which adds to the atmosphere. The cafe is arranged over a couple of rooms and is a little quirky which is a plus. On this occasion it was not very busy as... More

If you like fine cheese, it is hard to beat and the café serves interesting lunches - in addition have some interesting deli items in both the café and the cheese shop

We had lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. The cheesemonger was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and helped us choose some lovely cheeses for our platter and our waitress was helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. However the meal was spoilt for us by the tension between some of the front of house staff. I feel it is very unprofessional to... More

We enjoyed lunch here with friends, but while the food was fine (good quality, fresh, good value for money) the service, as others have said, lacks flair. For example when I asked for the bill it did not arrive, and I had to go to the counter to get a bill and pay. I suppose when the ratings of a... More
