One of the dangers with returning to a much loved eatery, is the possibility of it either allowing standards to slip or it not being quite as good as you remembered it. No worries with the amazing food and staff at The Allium. It can only be a matter of time before this gastronomic delight is awarded it's first Michelin... More

Had an excellent dinner. As a guest we received a discount for breakfast and dinner. For dinner we chose the two courses for a certain price. Was totally impressed with the quality of the food. A true gourmet restaurant. The presentation was beautiful as well as the combination of flavors for dinner were exceptional

The food looked good and tasted even better. The service was comfortably relaxed and friendly. Why wasn't the place full? For me it must only be the room itself. Some interesting artwork on the walls could not compensate for the generally gloomy feel to the room and dreadful light fittings. I would go again and again for the food but... More

Extremely friendly, pleasant and polite staff, best service I've had for a long time. Good food in a nice atmosphere. Pleasantly surprised that a hotel restaurant could offer such good service. Would thoroughly recommend.

We were there for a nice and leisurely late lunch on a weekday. Allium is located in the heart of Bath, a short walk away from Parade Garden and most major attractions. The pan fried cod I had was done to perfection. Crispy on the outside but juicy on the inside. The service was unobtrusive and efficient.

Unusual combinations of flavours, presented in a way that was so tempting to look at - we enjoyed every mouthful and every minute. Service was efficient and friendly - a difficult combination to get right. Choose a table by the window so that you can watch what's going on outside too!

We revisited for Sunday lunch and chose the roast pork and roast beef respectively. Both were very generous portions, beautifully presented with extremely flavoursome accompanying vegetables and sauces. Of particular note was the apple sauce paired with the pork - absolutely delicious. The staff were highly attentive and polite, responding promptly and courteously to all requests. A great point about... More

We visited this restaurant on our first night in Bath and found it to be a fabulous restaurant. We were greater by extremely friendly waiters who were very attentive throughout the whole meal. The setting was opulent but very relaxed which made for a very enjoyable evening. The bread the chefs bake on site was truly amazing and in no... More

Picked up on Allium Brasserie from Tripadvisor - we had a shopping and rugby day arranged and thought lunch here would fit in nicely. We were warmly greeted by very friendly staff - the whole ambiance was relaxed but professional. Prosecco Kir with some wasabi peas, cashews and almonds - whilst choosing from the menu. Both had the set lunch... More
