We ate here one evening when it was quiet, and the food was outstanding, worth every penny. We were so impressed we returned a few days later. Unfortunately it was much busier, the main courses were less than average, however, the desserts were great.

I visited the Brasserie as a party of eleven; we had pre-booked afternoon tea for an agreed price of £10.95 per head. I was more than disappointed when the food was served- there were only 3 food stands between 11 of us; I had one triangle sandwich and one scone plus the tea! I found the price abominable for what... Ate here for the first time last night and was really impressed. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the strawberry and vanilla panacotta which was just heavenly. Really friendly staff, special mention to Irish Ross (believe it was his second day?) who was outstanding. We will be recommending this restaurant.

Following numerous meals at Allium over the past few years, it is gratifying to see that their standards and aspirations are still rising. The set lunch at £23 for three courses is excellent both in quality and in value - perhaps the best value luncheon currently in Bath to my mind, supported with a first class wine list - both... More

Drove to bath (hour and a half) especially to eat at allium for a joint birthday meal, it was definitely worth it. Out of 6 of us, 3 were coeliac and therefore gluten free and allium did very well to accommodate us and adapt the things we wanted (within reason) from the menu. Everyone was blown away by the food,... More

Booked this as a birthday treat for my wife, and the food and wine were very good, if slightly over-reliant on salt for flavouring the former. We had an enjoyable meal, but the staff did break what for us is the one cardinal rule: always organize the aperitifs quickly - customers with drinks in their hands are happy customers! I am... More

We had a very large business lunch there. Everyone was served quite promptly and the food was well-presented and came out in a timely fashion.

We walked in without a reservation on a Saturday evening and were pleasantly surprised. Picked out of the guide book because of the description of "Modern European Cuisine" we found that the Chef, Chris Stains, had been names Bath's 2013 Chef of the year. Our Irish waiter, Ross, on his first day on the job, steered us toward the triple... More

My friends and I took advantage of the early evening deal and we were extremely pleased with the quality food that we ate. The chef certainly knows what he's doing. My daughter had food from the children's menu which wasn't so great, I wish I'd ordered for her from the main menu as she would have enjoyed it more. Our... More
