Lunch with friend it was mid week so fairly quiet so atmosphere lacking. However food was good and at the moment you can have the 'Tennerfest' so worth visiting as excellent value. Nice menu and variety not too much choice just enough of the right combination in my opinion. Service was slightly slow in bar/lounge area whilst waiting to go... More

My mother and I took advantage of 'Tennerfest' as part of the Great Bath Feast last week. We both had wonderful meals with a generous glass of wine - for £10 each - great value. In particular, the cauliflower risotto was delicious - wonderful rich flavour. Of course, we couldn't resist starting with a lovely gin cocktail and adding in... More

The title says it all. We had dinner on the sunday night of a bank holiday weekend. The restaurant had a steady stream of people without being full. The staff were great. I like to ask what they would recommend (and why) and the enthusiasm shone from the eyes of the girl who served us. Overall the services was excellent... More

Returner to allium having visited a number of previous occasions, both Sunday lunches and evening. Today's lunch although good was not exceptional. Seemed a little over cooked, and plate lacked colour. (Main). Fish soup starter and scotch egg starters both excellant however roast mains seemed either overlooked. Although individual tastes good, roasts potatoes extremely crispy too greasy. Overall for price... More

Dear David J Many thanks for your review following your recent lunch at Allium, I am sorry to read that you enjoyed this experience less than previous visits. It seems that we let you down on the main course and our poor choice of music. Both are points we will most certainly address, I can only apologise, whilst we hit... More

We visited Bath at the end of September. This restaurant is by the bus stop which goes on a sightseeing tour out of town, so we decided to have lunch here whilst we waited for a bus. We had the meat platter which was served with their home made bread and was very good. I ordered a glass of Pinot... More

We were a group of 22 business colleagues and we all eat in restaurants regularly. Despite the two large tables, it didn't feel cramped. We provided a pre-order list to the restaurant who were amazingly efficient. The food was just amazing and I don't think I have ever enjoyed such a fantastic meal and will most definitely be back. The... More

My wife and I visited Allium for her birthday along with another couple. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were attentive. Our waitress was very good. I ordered the mackerel to start and pork belly for a main which both arrived quickly. All seemed good but unfortunately my dishes lacked any kind of flavour except for the overpowering taste... More

I had afternoon tea here and it was okay. Nothing grand to mention. Sandwiches were fine and scones with jam and clotted cream were nice. Tea was hot and enjoyable. The waitress was very good, attentive and we even asked for directions to another place and she got another staff member to help us as she was busy. A relaxing... More
