As we were staying close to the Costume Museum, we decided to have breakfast at Bea's. Not only was the tea the best we found in the whole of Bath (the little timer was a nice touch), but the whole experience was very good. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed and we wish we had returned the following day, instead... More

Went here for special afternoon tea and was not disappointed ! The scones were delicious and great selection of teas in an amazing selection of vintage tea pots. The cakes were also yummy . Need to return to try some more.

We sheltered from a brief rain storm here and gained a few pounds in calories! The cake was to die for and the scones with cream and jam were just beautiful. The mismatch teapots, cups and saucers added to the charm. A worthwhile mid-afternoon stop for anyone who is vaguely peckish!

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience especially the fact that we had our own private 40's style room. Lots of sandwiches, cakes and plenty of tea. Interesting little place, well worth a second visit.

We came here for a special occasion with family for afternoon and was thrilled with the afternoon tea experience. The food was delicious and the atmosphere and ambiance of the restaurant made it even more special. A definite treat!

I've recently discovered this little gem and have been thoroughly enjoying working my way through their extensive range of delicious cakes (yum yum!). Today I had lunch and I can't wait to go back and indulge in brunch ... followed by cake (of course!). And I love the tablecloths, they remind me of my Grandma x

Popped in here for a morning tea/coffee with my parents and daughter who is at the university. She had not had breakfast and needs gluten free/dairy free food and they were most obliging and concocted something for her. A lovely cafe with lots of 1940's memorabilia. Teapots and cups and saucers all the proper porcelain. Great place. Nice tea too.

Cute, traditional tea room, a few minutes walk out of Bath City Centre. Not a huge selection of food, but it is all "traditional", no chips or coke - which is definitely not a bad thing! Very busy, so clearly a good sign, and could see why. However service was pretty slow, obviously because it was busy. Still, quite small,... More

We spoke to the lovely girl at the counter who showed us to a table. We looked over the menu for a few minutes and then another lady came over to take our order. My girlfriend asked for a Cappuccino and she abruptly said that only filter coffee was available. I asked for a soft drink and she waited pointedly... More

This is a lovely little spot with incredible staff, food and atmosphere. The crockery, tea towels and table covers are all vintage. Great value for afternoon tea and food choices superb. The beetroot soup was phenomenal and the breads divine. Big pieces of cake for the traditional tea. I will be back again for sure.
