I can say the best baker in town is maya. Excellent carrot and red velvet cake. Me and my family were buying red velvet cakes for birthdays and special occasions from the beginning when they opened, amazing!!!!! Lovely staff and great banter

An excellent breakfast menu, in fact the best scrambled egg ever away from home. Only in Bath 2 nights but certainly went back!

Had a quick coffee and bacon sandwich lovely friendly staff and not too shy with the bacon. Stumbled on this place by accident as I am from Barnsley returning to Bath soon so will revisit.

In fact, if you go upstairs you'll see the square and it's a nice view. They serve delicious cappuccino and tasty sandwiches as well so... More

We popped in at 13.00 on a Sunday before heading to the shops, and were surprised at the large food menu that was available. I had scrambled eggs on toast with smoked salmon, which was very reasonably priced and delicious. The coffee was so smooth, I could've gone back for another later. Friendly atmosphere, delicious food, wonderful coffee and all... More

Don't miss when in Bath! We stumbled across Java Coffee House when visiting Bath, and knew we had to ask Maya to make our wedding cake... Our wedding was 1 year ago this weekend and our friends are still raving about the fabulous red velvet cake at the wedding. We came by again to say hi a year later and... More

For the best coffee you'll EVER have- head to Java. A refreshing alternative to all the chains in Bath. We went there for brunch and had stunning eggs benedict and eggs royal- piled high with bacon and salmon. Absolutely delicious. Such good value and Kev and Maya are such lovely hosts- they really look after their customers and care about... More
