Visited Bath for the first time and chose the Java Coffee House for breakfast based on recent reviews. It proved to be one of my better decisions. Top quality sausages, bacon etc... and excellently cooked. Oh, great service and welcome from owner and staff too. Will return on any future visit to Bath.

I was lured away from Starbucks by the offer of a free coffee from the owner. He was right, his coffee is far superior. So, great coffee, excellent service, the baguettes are very good indeed and the place is in a nice spot. Try it and you will return!

Lovely cafe run by two of the most welcoming faces in Bath. Awesome breakfasts (can strongly recommend the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon on a bagel!) great coffee and Maya makes t the best red velvet cake I have ever tried.

I can say the best baker in town is maya. Excellent carrot and red velvet cake. Me and my family were buying red velvet cakes for birthdays and special occasions from the beginning when they opened, amazing!!!!! Lovely staff and great banter

An excellent breakfast menu, in fact the best scrambled egg ever away from home. Only in Bath 2 nights but certainly went back!

Had a quick coffee and bacon sandwich lovely friendly staff and not too shy with the bacon. Stumbled on this place by accident as I am from Barnsley returning to Bath soon so will revisit.

What more can you say......friendly staff who clearly take very seriously their art as Barista's, very reasonably priced food will be back.

It looks like a simple place from the outside, but it has his touch! it's usually quite busy which is a good sign, but they have room upstairs so you can always find a spot. In fact, if you go upstairs you'll see the square and it's a nice view. They serve delicious cappuccino and tasty sandwiches as well so... More

We popped in at 13.00 on a Sunday before heading to the shops, and were surprised at the large food menu that was available. I had scrambled eggs on toast with smoked salmon, which was very reasonably priced and delicious. The coffee was so smooth, I could've gone back for another later. Friendly atmosphere, delicious food, wonderful coffee and all... More
