Really friendly staff and excellent range of food choice for breakfast and lunch. Amazing how they manage to prepare it all in the tiny kitchen they have! Smoothie was to die for too. Definitely recommend a visit for some coffee and grub whilst people watching in the square outside.

Just across the road from the Premier Inn. A nice friendly welcome, lots to choose from and a great breakfast. That's why we went back both days of our stay in Bath.

The owner greeted us with enthusiasm, and brewed great cappuccinos. His selection of pastries was nice, and they were all obviously fresh that day. I had a full English breakfast, which was perfectly done.

Kingsmead Square in Bath is a little off the beaten track - only a little, but if you are not local you could miss it. Slighty scruffy, but with a classy history, this square, just behind the Theatre Royal, is the setting for a number of individual, creative businesses. One of these is Java. I found it a few weeks... This is by far the best coffee in Bath. It is rich smooth and has a deep tone. It is prepared with care and love not too hot not too cold. The homemade cakes are very good too. Try the red velvet cake if it is available it's yummy.

This place is absolutely fabulous. I went here today with my partner and we each had the small breakfast which included sausage, bacon, mushrooms, fried egg, beans, toast and either tea or coffee. I had tea and I got three cups of tea out of my teapot before I gave up, there was so much!! The food was cooked beautifully.... More

The gent who runs this place is absolutely lovely. The food is fantastic and if you get chance to try the cheesecake, it's worth every penny. Absolutely wonderful.

After reading other reviews we thought Java would be really good. It took them 10mins to bring us 2 drinks and then a further 30mins to bring us 2 paninis. As we were sat near the counter we could hear the staff arguing with each other which is highly unprofessional. Food was of average quality. They were busy with not... More
