Decent coffee and a tempting selection of good cakes make this establishment a good one to add to one's list. The rooms upstairs with wingback chairs and a sofa add to the ambience considerably.

This cafe is very reasonably priced, given its location. The coffee and tea were excellent and, in addition to the cakes, there is a small menu of pies and panini. I enjoyed the Heidi pie and my husband had cheese and ham panino. We were allowed two forks to enjoy a piece of cake, but we could have taken some... More

Not only excellent coffee, but upstairs views of the pump rooms and the Abbey, in an original Georgian drawing room, make this a place to visit, even if you're not in need of a cup of Java. Simple cakes, soup and pies form the menu which is only served at lunchtime, but the main draw here is the Jose coffee... More

I was visiting Bath with my daughter and we came across this lovely coffee shop. The cakes on offer were fabulous, the location was lovely. We were able to sit outside with our coffee and cake and watch the world go by in Bath - perfect

We were drawn into this gorgeous little cafe after being tempted by the array of cakes on display in the window. Disappointed were we not! Chocolate brownies that absolutely melt in the mouth, a ginger cake to rival your gran's recipe and buttery croissants. Sit at a window table on the first floor, watch the rest of Bath go by... More

Went here for a drink/ sweet treat whilst on a girly shopping trip. Picking a drink was fairly easy - picking a cake was a whole different game. With a wide range to choose from, and them all on display looking highly tempting, it is a difficult decision to make! I went for the peanut butter brownie ( yum) and... More

We visited Bath during a stormy weekend and needed somewhere to shelter. Glad we chose here as the warmed Scones were melt in your mouth deliciousness! They came with very generous portions of home made jam. Coffee was good and seating area upstairs relaxed with tables to share or upholstered sofas and armchairs to relax in. There were lots of... I popped into Jacobs for a drink with my little girl. The gentleman behind the counter looked at me like I was a minor inconvenience for walking in the door, presumably because I might be about to order something. I just assumed he was having a bad day so felt a bit sorry for him. My daughter and I both... More
