We called in for a cup of tea to be greeted by a surly "what do you want then". The table was cramped and the drinks bog standard.

Imagine my delight when I found this café in Bath. I HAD to go inside and explore. It's terribly quaint , with beautiful paraphernalia to remind you of Lewis Carroll's book. I had tea and sandwiches here and both were presented in a delightful manner on mismatched crockery, which simply added to the experience.

Stopped here for a very late lunch on our first day in Bath. There wasn't much choice for a sandwich with it being so late but what we did have was very nice...as was the cake afterwards! They have a good choice of teas and coffee and the waitress was very down to earth with us. Only a small place... More

Very small space inside, but we enjoyed the Tea and scones with cream. We were there with premium tours and our guide recommended them, we were not disappointed. It was our first tea and scones with cream and we left happy, service was friendly and cheerful.

It's a small tea house in Bath, with a good variety of delicious dishes and a very friendly host, which makes the time spent there enjoyable and worthy.

Was recommended by Tastecard so popped in for afternoon tea. Fantastic service provided and cheerful conversation from Darren even when he was dealing with a difficult customer. More than happy to support independent tea shops like this

After we had read great reviews on trip advisor a friend and I visited. There's only 4 tables inside so had to sit outside. We were told that they had sold out of green tea, ALL fizzy drinks, crisps and plain scones. That's a lot to have sold out for! The waitress didn't appear at all apologetic or concerned about... We came across this quaint little café for a light lunch before birthday dinner in the evening. Very friendly owner explained that there was only enough soup for one but he had managed to "water it down" to feed two and would give us a discount. It was very tasty though and the bread was lovely. He gave us free... More

We had a lovely cream tea in this little cafe overlooking Bath Abbey. The scones were fresh and tasty and we enjoyed the ambience.

My girlfriend and I popped into this quaint cafe due to recommendations on the BigBen promotional leaflet. We were given a friendly welcome and the tea and cakes were lovely. However when we came to pay despite receiving a discount through the BigBen scheme of free tea with each cake, we were still charged £8.50! This seems a bit steep... More
