We arrived at 3pm on a Saturday and surprising they were not serving hot food. I went to have a roast beef sandwich but they had run out. We were eventually enticed into 2 amazing sandwiches the staff were amazing and soooo friendly. A brilliant experience and will go again for cream tea!!!!!

In our day trip to Bath, our tour guide mentioned this little café to our group, so my friend and I decided to look for it before we had to leave the city. It's really well located, and we only took more than usual to find it, because we weren't familiar with the city. As soon as you look at... More

Popped in this past sunday for breakfast with my bestie, having seen it the day before on our sightseeing travels.... We can't resist a theme! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by how friendly the guy that worked there was. He even gave us some interesting history tidbits about Bath. We both had the full English... More

We visited The Mad Hatter's Tea Party on Saturday afternoon while in Bath for a Hen weekend. After spending the morning at the Spas we were all very hungry by the time we arrived, we were not disappointed. All the food was delicious, we opted for the afternoon tea which is great value for money. We had a brilliant time... More

We had scones and cream and jam, or scones and jam and cream, depending on which way round you put it on the scone! They were lovely scones, hot out of the oven and were really tasty on a freezing cold Easter Monday. The hot chocolate was delicious and time was going backward nicely. You have to be there to understand........

My friend and I popped in for breakfast over the Bank Holiday weekend. After reading the rave reviews on here and having seen photos of this quirky cafe, I was really looking forward to visiting. Bar one other person, we were the only other people in the restaurant at 11am on Sunday so we were easily able to get a... More

It was only our second visit to The Mad Hatter but it already felt like we were regulars, we were remembered from the week before. We had a very warm and friendly welcome. Our lunch was excellent and very reasonably priced. We will be back again soon.

Great food, fantastic selection, child friendly, good value. Harry's favourite for sausage and beans. Right next to the Abbey in the centre of Bath.

The tour guide recommended this place for scones, clotted cream & tea. I substituted coffee which was full bodied and delicious. Just wish this place was a little bigger so all of us who wanted to enjoy the delicious scones and warm up could be seated.
