We were recommended to go to this tiny little cafe by the man sitting opposite to us on the train into Bath. He certainly practised what he preached, as he was sitting there with a friend when we arrived for lunch, later in the day. With places for perhaps a cramped 12 inside and another 8 outside, it's not exactly... More

The owners are absolutely lovely. Warm welcome and are eager to make you feel at home. We've planned a birthday for next week. Definitely going to be a regular here! Quaint mis matched furniture and cutlery to go with it. Prices are reasonable too :)

What lovely friendly staff, quick service too. Stopping for tea and cake before setting off for home after a busy day shopping we wanted to sit outside and staff happy for us to take extra chairs outside. Other members of our group had tea and cake and as there was nothing left it must have been good! I selected a... More

Visited for coffee and potential lunch - unfortunately I am gluton intolerant and they didn't cater for this however the food that I saw looked fresh & yummy! The coffee was extremely nice Italian:) The room is small and quirky. The staff were very pleasant. All pastries & cakes displayed with an open kitchen. Well worth a visit as it's... More

Stopped here for lunch; great little place with delicious, fresh, sandwiches (the turkey, cranberry and stuffing sandwich was fabulous!). The shop is small with only a few tables inside, and a couple outside; all the tables and chairs are painted with bright colors reminiscent of the Mad Hatter's Tea Party in Alice in Wonderland, and the walls are decorated with... I visited the Mad Hatter's Tea Party after visiting the Roman Baths and Bath Abbey and I loved the quirky decorations. I ordered tea and a cupcake and while the cupcake was yummy, the tea was not so great.

In spite of it's Trip Advisor sign, this was a disappointing place for lunch. We tried it two days and they were out of vegetables both days! (we requested their roasted veggie sandwich), and we ended up with a dry cheese on bread sandwich. Yuck. They need to get their act together. On top of this, the service is slow.... More

Had tea here yesterday - a sunny Saturday afternoon and we managed to get a table outside. Staff were very pleasant, the choice of tea and cakes was good and it was a great place to people watch! Loved the quirkiness of the design of the tables and chairs!!
