Picnic Lunch

We randomly picked this little cafe to get takeaway lunch from to bring over to have a picnic by the canal and we were glad we did, the staff were very helpful in arranging it to be takeaway and bagging out items up, the panini and scones were very tasty and it's a great central location.

I stopped here for a tea in the afternoon and the server insisted I take a seat. I'm glad I did, because the food here was delicious! The restaurant is decorated with an 'Alice in Wonderland' theme, which was funky and original.

I loved this shop! The staff are very friendly and there is a very great vibe about the place. Definitely take the 45 minutes you have and go and have afternoon tea here.

I visited here with a group of friends on a hen party. We were not overly impressed by the friendliness or service, in particular that this cafe has a policy of not providing tap water for paying customers. There didn't seem to be any reason for this other than them wanting to charge for water from the fridge. When I... More

The previous reviews show how wonderful this place is so I'm putting my experience down to a bad day. We went in for a cake and coffee - to me it was expensive for what it was - my cake wasn't the best I'd had and at the time the waitress was polite but not amazing. Okay none the less

Had a couple of days in Bath and came across this lovely welcoming place. The owners are a lovely couple, down to earth and nothing was too much trouble. The afternoon tea was excellent and very good value. Well worth a visit or two while your in the area.

Came across this tea shop on a wet and windy day in Bath. Beautiful and cosy inside. Excellent pot of green tea and a delicious and generous size sandwich. Lovely staff, quick and efficient service, just perfect. Definitely will visit again.
