Quaint little tea room ideal location

A great little find in the centre of Bath, good Lavazza coffee with homemade scones a good selection of teas. The sandwiches made with good quality bread fab smoked salmon and cream cheese with lovely cake to follow. Beware its only small so seats are limited but worth a wait to visit.

Alice in wonderland is my absolute favourite story so to find a themed cafe made me so happy. Whoever came up with the idea deserves a medal. However sometimes when I've been in, their choice of cakey bits haven't been too wonderful and it is a little overpriced for what it is. However the decor makes up for it so... More

Sorry you didn't enjoy your visit to the Mad Hatters, as we pride ourselves on providing good service, and quality, freshly prepared food. Unfortunately, space is limited, and provision of baby changing facilities is impossible. Thanks for feedback. More

My daughter is a big Alice in Wonderland fan so when I read about this place my husband and I had to stop there for lunch and cream tea and take some pictures of the place for our daughter, very cute little spot to stop at , clean cafe and very friendly staff . If ever back in Bath would... More

Looking at Johnny Depp, sitting on a throne all in the picturesque location of Bath - what more could you want?!?! It was such a lovely 'find', we needed something quick (diabetic dad) and this certainly sufficed! Lovely small café, Friendly staff and fairly reasonable price. We were all pleased with the selection of choice, even for veggies. Slight confusion... More

A spotlessly clean café with a great ambiance, the owners were also extremely attentive. But now for the best bit, the cream tea, beautiful moist, freshly baked, homemade scones, top quality jam and clotted cream all served with a large traditional pot of quality tea, absolute heaven. we will definitely return on a regular basis. This café is a real... More

I was tasked with organising my friend's hen weekend and choose to book lunch at Mad Hatters. The owner was so lovely to deal with over the phone and accommodating to our requirements. When we arrived she had put together a lovely spread of sandwiches, scones and cake and decorated the table beautifully. It really was the perfect place to... More

We were recommended to go to this tiny little cafe by the man sitting opposite to us on the train into Bath. He certainly practised what he preached, as he was sitting there with a friend when we arrived for lunch, later in the day. With places for perhaps a cramped 12 inside and another 8 outside, it's not exactly... More
