After 3 visits, my views are fairly consistent on Menu Gordon Jones. its a small, fun place with a lot of energy and perhaps ambition. there is a young vibe, and its easy to be swept up in the hip, conviction of the off beat cuisine. Generally speaking there are virtually no really good restaurants in Bath, and this place... More

Seriously one of the best lunches I have ever had, I can't recommend it highly enough. Every course was perfectly matched and balanced, the cooking is of an amazingly high standard and the service was equally good. I can't wait to return and I must say it was very very reasonable for such great quality

This restaurant would be a hit in any city of the world. The chef is a master of putting together ingredients that you would not expect to compliment each other but here they do and more. The space is almost sparse but let it turn you away, this is a meal worth traveling for.

I am enjoying an exceptional meal in this small, unique chef owned restaurant. Just finished the main course ( 7 total) a delicious lamb with tastes of vegetables and sauce. Each course is accompanied by a wine tasting menu I opted for. This is a dining experience not to be missed if you are in Bath. The chef - Gordon... More

The tasting menu here is genuinely unusual and utterly delicious. All the food is beautifully presented and flavours are fresh and delicate, sophisticated but not fussy. Service is friendly, prompt and helpful without being in the least intimidating. The flight of accompanying wines was well worth the extra expense and introduced us to some wonderful new tastes. It's not cheap... More

£55 for a stunning chef's taster menu is an absolute bargain, and it is a suprise. The accompanying wine flight was perfect and very reasonable. It may look unimposing from outside but make no mistake this is one off gem. The kitchen is open plan and in the corner which means the big man can answer questions as they arise,... More

A combination of factors meant that from first trying to book a table in November, we finally managed to eat here in April. It was certainly worth the wait. There is something very relaxing about not having a menu. No dithering over the many dishes you like the sound of, no food envy from/at your friends, no struggle to find... More

We had lunch for the first time at menu gordon jones yesterday and I can definitely say it won't be our last visit. Gordon jones is without doubt a talented and creative chef and we experienced dishes, never the likes experienced in Michilan restaurants. This bought the debate, should they receive a 1 star or not? if you go by... More
