Quick coffee in a lovely relaxed modern setting

Great find, knowledgeable staff. Tell them the type of coffee you like and they hit the spot. They have a sister place in Milan street that does coffee and speciality beers so will review this next

Knowledgable staff guided us through the coffees available and the best way to drink them. We liked it so much we had two cups! The lemon cakes were delicious too. A stylish and friendly stop off near the Royal Crescent.

Wonderful coffee but what really made this trip special was the knowledge of the barista. Superb understanding of what they were selling and even the science behind how they do it. I live two hours away but am looking forward to my next visit!

Friends from all over the world have told us to visit this coffee shop in Bath. It certainly was not a disappointed. This is the real deal!! Amazing amazing coffee. Different specialities, i.e. Kenyan, Ethiopian, Fruity flavored etc etc. Honestly a must visit. There's a little garden outside at the back of the coffee shop, with a couple of tables... More

We visited again recently, having made the trip from Birmingham largely to visit this coffee house, as well as enjoy some of Bath's lovely sights. We decided to order all of the espresso bean varieties - three in all, as split-shots, so that we could sample all of the flavour combinations. As you can see from our photo, this results... More

Although I love coffee, I don't feel quite comfortable in some specialty coffee shops as they are often small. Colonna and Small's is airy and somehow has a feel of relaxed "normal cafe" despite being a specialty coffee shop. Their coffee is of course excellent.

I LOVE my coffee, and was informed that Colonna and Small's was the best coffee place in town, so we made a bee line for it! I went for a flat white, while the boyfriend went for something a little stronger and both our choices were incredible. We didnt try any of the food, but had numerous cups of coffee.... More

This was our first visit to Colonna and Small's and we were really impressed. The space is airy, modern and bright with a courtyard outside. On arrival friendly and knowledgable staff welcome you and are more than willing to assist. We all had flat whites - the Guatamalan being the favourite followed by the fruity Tanzanian. The coffee was excellent... More

Excellent chilled out cool but not too cool for school venue - really helpful staff if you are unsure about what to try. Great regularly changed selection and options for flat whites or no milk etc. didn't feel intimidated despite being a novice.
