Great find, good food, lovely atmosphere

Head up the stairs for a charming bar and restaurant. Really good salads and wines, madly busy and has a great atmosphere. Good value and great service.

Fabulous quirky little restaurant down a little side street, it doesn't shout from the roof tops you have to find your way up the stairs beside the wine shop. The decor is understated but comfortable, the wine list is extensive and I'm sure give pleasure to those with far more professional palette than my own! The menu was varied but... More

Having come home and read the reviews they are all so right. We were looking for light lunch but not in a chain establishment and stumbled across this upstairs cafe. The atmosphere was enhanced by a French party enjoying a variety of drinks, could have easily been in France. The smoked haddock in a tart was excellent, washed down with... More

Situated above the award winning independent wine and spirits retailer this is a great place that deserves to succeed because it does what it does well. Will is an excellent host and if you choose one of their themed evenings you will be treated to some great tapas style food in generous servings paired with an excellent wine selection (unlike... After spending some time in the pub opposite, my wife and I decided to test the Tasting Room for a bite to eat. We splashed out on a bottle of bubbly, although the price was not prohibitively expensive. Can recommend the pearl barley risotto, and the cheese board contained some of the most delicious cheeses - including a Brie to... More

Lovely little wine bar. Brilliant range of various sprits and wines. It's a great place to pop in and have a drink and a bite to eat, would totally recommend chorizo, accompanied by a large glass of the reasonably priced Rijoca. Lovely and welcoming staff and will definitely be going back again! ☺️

Tucked away down a side street, up a twisting staircase and you find yourself in one of the best bars/ eateries in Bath! Worth hunting for and worth sampling one or two (or three) of the selection of whiskies available and tucking into one of the superb meals on the menu. We will definitely be returning and will be booking... More

I've been here a few times now and it's a firm favourite. There is always a pleasant suprise in store, with changing wine specials. The wine is top notch, the food is consistently good, and the staff are lovely. The only difficulty might be getting a table at lunch time on a busy weekend. It's well worth persevering though! It's... More

A random discovery whilst wondering around the back streets of Bath, this is a hidden Gem. On the ground floor you have a wonderful off licence selling wines from around the world, local ale. A fantastic selection of whiskey to suit all budgets and an increasing selection of unusual Gins. Upstairs you find a reason to return time and time... More
