Lovely home made food

Had an amazing sausage roll with side salads and lentils. It was truly beautiful and not like any sausage roll I've ever had! I love how fresh and tasty everything I tried was. It was truly a delight to eat here. It was quite cramped seating but was fine for a quick lunch.

Despite living in Bath a while now, I only visited this place for the first time a couple of weeks ago and I can tell you Sam's kitchen, that based on this visit alone, you've gained a new regular customer. Everything was flawless; the look and feel of the place is quirky without being too try-hard, the music playing in... More

Occasionally writing reviews on Trip Advisor I normally follow the principle of not writing negatively, preferring to voice concerns direct. This trade is hard enough without unnecessary negativity. But this time I think I want to raise a concern about Sam's Kitchen. This is an attractive looking place with, at first sight, friendly staff and food that looks great. But... More

We visited Sam's Kitchen twice during our stay in Bath and thoroughly enjoyed the food both times. It looked and tasted good. The cafe was busy each time. Toilet access is poor and unsafe, but not sure what can be done about that. Would recommend and will return. Staff very friendly and attentive.

Almost every dish, cup and saucer used was chipped. The teapot spout was also cracked and chipped and the lid was wedged in place with paper. The toilet is located using steep steps which would prove difficult for anyone elderly or with a minor disability. The food I felt was overpriced. The service was ok but the prices were steep... Hello there, I'm really sorry your experience at Sam's in Bath wasn't what you had wanted it to be. We tend to use old and vintage tea cups and we don't really mind a chip or two in them. We use large paper teabags and loose leaf teas, the top of which stick out from under the lid; just to... More

Here the chef prepares a couple of dishes every lunchtime with an incredible selection of salads to go with. I chose the baked salmon with taboulah salad - amazing. Great coffee.

Absolutely charming cafe. The food is beyond delicious and freshly made. There is seating outside and it is a real sun trap. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Highly recommended.

Relaxing and calm cool atmosphere, perfectly cooked Breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. 6 of us ate, and all the food for breakfast came out terrific. Highlight was going to the toilets, an experience none of us will forget LOl. Fully recommend to all especially couples a very romantic little place (good back ground music)

Lovely little foodie cafe slightly hidden from the madness of Bath city center. Delicious and well made coffee, fantastic food with unique service/setting. Brownies to die for and walking distance from shops.
