So I went upstairs expecting a normal restroom/toilet. Right at the top of the winding stairs there was a continental / Mexican swing half door and behind it the loo. Your top half can be seen at all times I jest not so this toilet is not disabled friendly and not for those with a fear of heights. However, the... More

Stopped by chance on a walk past Sam's Kitchen in Walcot Street and had a great lunch. The salad was fresh and the pickles different and tasty. Cold meet was simple but again delicious. This is a small place with outside tables on the pavement as well as a mixture of table types inside. The food is on display and... More

There aren't enough characters per review to adequately describe how much we loved Sam's Kitchen. We had the entire place for an evening meal - family service style. From working with one million food requests, to allowing us to play our own music, decorate the restaurant, put branding on their serving stuff and not wince at our merry making, they... More

Fantastic cafe tucked into wonderful Walcot Street. Delicious food, good coffee, friendy & helpful staff, outdoor and indoor tables, wifi (that works too!) and a great atmosphere. Love this place!

Went here for a quick weekday lunch- it was very busy and we were lucky to get a table in the glorious sunshine. I had the tart and salad deal for £7.50- it is quite expensive for what it is (smallish portions), but it was utterly delicious, seriously yummy! Perfect for vegetarians :) Coffee is also good there. The service... More

came here for lunch with my mum- we have been before, and did not have a problem. We asked for salad plates - at the counter there was an array, if diminishing, amount of salad type dishes - we were hoping for a large plate of salad - £8.50. what we got was anything but. if anything it looked like... We came across Sam's Kitchen whilst strolling down the street and stopped for coffee and cake. There was a wonderful display of fresh homemade cakes as well as salads and quiches. It was a bit early for lunch for us other wise we would have stayed but we were so impressed by the freshness of the food we went back... More

We had a mixed "salad plate with meat"; generous portions of at least 6 different creative delightful salads. Topped with generous slices of thinly sliced roast beef with a creamy light horse-radish creme. It was one of the best lunches I've ever had. Great (strong) espresso and a wonderful assortment of desserts. The place is small and packed; it wouldn't... More

went for lunch and found excellent selection of home baked quiche and interesting salads all freshly made. tables with a view of the street in this Bohemian quarter of Bath. Piped music not to my taste but fair value and good honest food. They also have a branch at the Glove Factory if you are visiting the National Trust Gardens... More

Stumbled on Sam's and a quick look at the food counter confirmed that we had to go back for lunch. It is small with very limited seating one big communal table with other tables squeezed around. Wonderfully cooked and fresh. Interesting salads, quiche, hot dish & lovely cakes Interesting premises probably an old workshop. License with good wine & cider... More
