We found this little gem with outside seating whilst walking along a pedestrian side street. The cafe is on two floors with outside seating area,it has a quirky and very European feel to it. We loved the Varied menu but being British went for a sandwich. For those who like a little a good sandwich with amazing fillings, excellent coffee and... More

I had a lovely sandwich! It was a proper sandwich made from two slices of granary bread - ham, mozzarella and tomato. The filling wasn't slicked with some slimy dressing and stringy salad I didn't want and it wasn't overloaded into a rock hard roll that I couldn't bite into without squirting everything out over myself. Simple stuff I know,... More

We stumbled across Rosarios while exploring Bath centre. It's down an attractive pedestrianised lane. The interior spreads over 2 floors but we were pleased to get one of the few street tables. The menu included a few unusual dishes and we enjoyed the aubergine and red pepper soup, and the 'arancini' (Sicilian rice balls stuffed with minced meat). That plus... More

I had high hopes as Rosario's seemed to have a really good menu of gluten-free main courses and gluten and dairy-free cakes and pastries. However, it was very disappointing to be served scrambled egg with normal toast when I had ordered gluten-free bread. When I queried it, they checked with the kitchen and then took the plate away. When they... More

At home in NZ we have a reputation for having good coffee, something I took for granted until recently moving to the UK. Rosario's however, know how to do excellent coffe, much to my relief. We weren't very hungry so only had Tea Cakes to eat but everything look delicious.

Whilst out in town decided to try this coffee shop tucked away. Friendly welcoming staff, coffee pretty good. Italian hot chocolate very thick and sickly (as described). We sat upstairs and it did feel a bit hot and stuffy. Definitely would go again but I'll get a seat by the window

Stopped for a bite to eat at lunchtime whilst enjoying a short break in the city and had a really enjoyable experience. We were lucky enough to secure an outdoor table on a sunny day and ordered wraps with beautiful fresh fillings. So, so good. Parma ham with parmesan and rocket and chicken with fresh pesto. They were really tasty.... More

£5.50 for a Bacon Sandwich. Shame because the coffee is great as is the service but the prices are exorbitant.
