We had a large party of 11 and this was the perfect venue. Not too much loud music so we could hear each other speak, large and spacious venue, nice rough wooden tables and subtle lighting - made a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our waiter was new and very attentive, checking everything was OK. Food was a little on the... More

Visited here with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday, after the birthday boy, chose it after walking past it on a previous dinning experience in Bath. Initial impression is that this is really an establishment trying to be a high end city centre bar, complete with an imposing doorman, which also serves food. We had some pre dinner... More

Great service. Excellent value. Took my children and they really enjoyed it. It was not until I visited another restaurant in Bath the following day which was very poor, did I really appreciate the quality of service received at The Tramshed. Will definitely go again as the staff are well trained and the food is good value and nice. Well done... More

This was a good place to have Sunday lunch for 3 generations from active grandparents down to a babe in arms. A reasonable selection of drinks available and traditional Sunday lunch fare with a good choice on the menu. The only downside was with the kitchen. There were at least 10 minutes between the first and the last main courses... More

Visited for a Mothers Day lunch in a party of 9. Very friendly and helpful Maitre'D who engaged us well. Fairly typical sunday lunch menu with the usual variety of roasts and other fare. I had the lamb kofta starters which were lovely and accompanied by 2 great sauces. I was in a lamb mood so had the lamb roast... More

We usually have Friday drinks here and then move on to other places to eat. This time we walked across from the bar and ate in! Our shared antipasta board was as good as any I have had elsewhere with a good selection of meats, toasted bread and salad with pieces of Dolcelatte, a nice touch. My spit roasted chicken... More

The chateaubriand is simply the best I've tasted for years. And everything else is delicious too. It's cooked while you wait and Chef can be relied upon to tickle your palate.

This venue offers good food and service throughout the day. Food is Italian based and the bar serves a wide range of drinks from ales to cocktails. Large venue but with lots of tables, inside and out. Last night the place was busy but staff welcoming and efficient.

My friend and I went to have breakfast there, we walked in and it was empty so I asked the chap if they were open and could we have some breakfast, his answer was " I am not sure as we are very busy today, I will ask the chef" came back to us a few moments later and we... More

We booked and very lucky we were too! For one of us it was his first sit down after 13 miles! A very good quality Fore Rib Roast beef dinner with beautifully cooked vegetables. Unctuous brownie with real ice cream- gelato. A fitting end to a day for our family supporting the Bath Half Marathon. The restaurant was full of... More
