Fantastic meal

We ate on Saturday 18th April- there are two floors, set on a lovely street near the Royal Crescent. The food was delicious - I had pork slices in white wine sauce, my partner had the cannelloni and we also tried the seabass which was beautifully presented. Starters were great as well and our... read more

TA reviews rate this restaurant highly, and that's why I booked (which is more-or-less essential). It is a VERY small restaurant, so be prepared to eat in intimate surroundings. We booked for four, and had a table facing the main door, so were somewhat in a draft... on a colder evening this would have been a real issue, but it... More

Visited this restaurant for the first, and hopefully not the last, time yesterday for an early evening meal. Food was very good, authentically Italian, lovely homemade pasta and delicious panna cotta. Service very good too, attentive but not too obtrusive and a relaxing, friendly atmosphere. All that and reasonably priced, too. Would definitely recommend, but preferred street level dining to... More

A superb and authentic italian restaurant. You sit right by the kitchen and it has a great atmosphere. Only a few tables so they're not greedy trying to serve more than they cab cope with given the kitchen size. Superbly simple dishes cooked perfectly, great wine choice and very friendly and discreet service. At no point during our evening did... More

Situated near the Royal Crescent and the Circus, this basic trattoria with Sicilian influences does the basics supremely well. The garlic bread was among the best I've had and the tagliatelle with lamb ragu fantastic. good choice of wine and very good service. The music is bit naf but that's not a reason to not score this a 5

A recommendation led to our lunchtime visit . . . my wife and I were not disappointed. Entering the restaurant reminded me of a little place I visited in Italy whilst following Bath Rugby a few years ago, uniquely homely (almost old-fashioned), welcoming and friendly. The weather outside was dreadful, we decided on a lengthy lunch. From a varied and... More

This is a great place for real authentic Italian "home" cooking - their pasta is wonderful. The service is great and we always receive a warm and friendly greeting. We normally go there for lunch so no experience of the evenings, but I'm sure it is just as good as lunchtimes! One of our favourites in Bath.

Not amazed or disappointed food was very nice and reasonably priced. Service was exactly as expected. Not much atmosphere going on inside though. May try it again some day.
