I went to Bath for a long weekend with my girlfriend. On the first night, we booked dinner at Rustico Bistro based on the positive TripAdvisor reviews. This was honestly one of the best Italian meals I have had in the UK. We sat upstairs next to the small open kitchen where the two restaurant chefs were vigorously working away.... More

the restaurant is "rustic" but wow the food is good. The garlic bread is probably the best we have ever had! I often do not eat three courses however the choices were varied and I found it difficult to refuse. The service is discrete but good, your wine was topped up as required and there was always someone on hand.... More

We just turned up there for lunch, decor was basic but that only added to the experience. Food was fantastic and tasted as good as any I have had in Italy.

This place is superb for traditional Italian food. It's really "no frills" (including the decor) but does outstanding, simple meals. Friendly service. Very much recommended.

My partner and I had always meant to visit this place, but it's a bit out of the way for us. After a friend urged me to go, I booked a table for last Friday night. What a gorgeous meal! Traditional bruschetta perfectly made, my partner's lasagna with its Fontina cheese and parma ham unusually lighter while still rich, and... More

We ate on Saturday 18th April- there are two floors, set on a lovely street near the Royal Crescent. The food was delicious - I had pork slices in white wine sauce, my partner had the cannelloni and we also tried the seabass which was beautifully presented. Starters were great as well and our overall bill, including drinks, was very... More

TA reviews rate this restaurant highly, and that's why I booked (which is more-or-less essential). It is a VERY small restaurant, so be prepared to eat in intimate surroundings. We booked for four, and had a table facing the main door, so were somewhat in a draft... on a colder evening this would have been a real issue, but it... More

Visited this restaurant for the first, and hopefully not the last, time yesterday for an early evening meal. Food was very good, authentically Italian, lovely homemade pasta and delicious panna cotta. Service very good too, attentive but not too obtrusive and a relaxing, friendly atmosphere. All that and reasonably priced, too. Would definitely recommend, but preferred street level dining to... More
