Delicious food in traditional style, the steak served on a bed of rocket is excellent, possibly the best steak anywhere. Service is friendly and the atmosphere good. Well worth a visit.

This is a small restaurant, so you have to be willing to sit close to other diners. That said the atmosphere is lovely - friendly, welcoming and jolly, and the food is very good. I had the wild boar sausage as a starter, which was delicious and the accompaniment of cannelloni beans and toast went very well. I chose the... More

If my husband was writing this review it would be 5 stars! He raved about the Chicken & Mushroom Fettuccine in cream sauce for days. Other items, the antipasti, Spinach Cannelloni and Calamari were all very good. The restaurant is small. Be prepared to meet your dining partners.

Authentic atmosphere and good food at a value-for-money price. Many Italian customers who should know where the best Italian menus are?

We had a nice starter shared before a main course. I had special vegetarian pasta with spinage and cheese. This was served in a dish with salad. Partner had seabream with salad. She said this was not fresh. Thought meals were Rustic and more suited to lunch. A bit disapointed.

The menu is fairly small, but there are some interesting choices. Our pastas were well prepared and tasty. The service was good, too. The downstairs dining room is a bit close; you really do feel as though you're underground.

I was told this was the second best Italian in Bath. If so I'd like to see the best. Only a couple of minutes from the Royal Crescent it's situated in a charming street with some interesting antiques, a wonderful book shop I revisited the next day, various rather interesting clothes shops and rather incongruously a dry cleaners. The food... More

My wife and I stopped to eat at this restaurant by accident while waiting for our laundry to be done at the near by laundry mat. How lucky for us! The food was outstanding and the service superb. This was some of the best Italian food that we have ever eaten and by far the best we had in Bath.... More

We came to this charming restaurant at the recommendation of our hotel and were so happy with the food. We had the garlic bread- not to be missed! The eggplant cake and chicken that was prepared for my granddaughter who didn't like spicy sauces. It was all wonderful. The service was attentive and thoughtful. A great experience!
