Basically one of the best Italian's in the West Country and worth seeking out in it's location near the Royal Crescent. Very personal service, great food and reasonably priced, a better atmosphere and far more authentic than some of the higher rated Italian establishments in Bath.

A little old fashioned design, but that's in the name :-) Food is really super! I asked for some pasta in stead of the potato and vegetables with the fish and it was no problem at all. Wen we go back to Bath we will reserve a table for all days. Mmmm...

We enjoyed this restaurant so much that we returned for a second dinner. The food was delicious and the service friendly. We sat outside which was delightful as the restaurant is on a pedestrian street. Great location as situated between the Circle and Crescent. A great spot for a relaxing, yummy meal... The tiramisu dessert was especially good. Definitely recommend... More

We stayed at the Royal Crescent and we were looking for a restaurant close by for our evening meal. The hotel staff recommended this restaurant and said we would have an enjoyable meal. We were extremely pleased by the food and restaurant. In fact, I have been talking about this place since I have returned back to the states. You... More

This is very cozy restaurant with small tables and a tight winding staircase, but this all just adds to the charm at this lovely restaurant. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food is lovely, especially the lasagna which is perfect. The prices are very reasonable, especially by Bath standards! I would highly recommend this to any fans of... More

Went to the Rustico Bistro in Bath. Menu looked thoroughly authentic & it was. Sat outside with a lovely breeze watching the cook cook in a proper Italian small kitchen in front of everyone. The food was delicious with real depth & taste. I'm not a big pasta fan but I ordered the chicken in a creamy sauce & didn't... More

A really excellent little Italian bistro, just around the corner from the Royal Crescent. At first glance Rustico could seem a little less polished in appearance than some of the other local restaurants - it's red and yellow exterior gives it the air of a cafe rather than a restaurant...but don't be fooled! The menu is proper Italian fare, and... More

Delicious food in traditional style, the steak served on a bed of rocket is excellent, possibly the best steak anywhere. Service is friendly and the atmosphere good. Well worth a visit.

This is a small restaurant, so you have to be willing to sit close to other diners. That said the atmosphere is lovely - friendly, welcoming and jolly, and the food is very good. I had the wild boar sausage as a starter, which was delicious and the accompaniment of cannelloni beans and toast went very well. I chose the... More
