We ate lunch here on a very busy Saturday Easter weekend. The venue is extremely characterful and well done. Great atmosphere as it was full of diners. Our waitress was lovely, and couldn't have delivered better service. We ordered a burger and fries and 3 tapas dishes. Portion sizes were fine, and the food was nice. However, prices were slightly... My husband and I visited Hall & Woodhouse on Easter Sunday for an impromptu lunch. I have to say, the service was excellent throughout our visit although granted the restaurant was probably only 1/3 full. The guy who seated us was very professional and suggested different drinks and meals for us. The food (roast beef and roast chicken) came within... More

Firstly, whoever designed this place is very talented; the decor is really lovely. However, I felt I must leave a review because the food was distinctly average. The starter I asked to be modified was "freshly made this morning" - an oxymoron if ever I heard one at 7:30pm. So I had to order a different starter. The pork was... More

Came across this gem by accident. Was originally just going to stay for a quick drink. Was served by a guy called Sam who proved to be very helpful and knowledgable (and a great asset to the company) about the beverages on offer, especially the draught and bottled beers and the cocktails. We decided to stay for a meal and... More

I have loved this place since they opened! Today it was a double gin and tonic on the roof in the sun , fabulous. The staff are smiley and helpful and I've never had a bad bite of food. Thoroughly recommend this place to normal nice people ! Thanks xx

We were in Bath overnight and choose this restaurant after reading reviews on Trip Advisor and Top Table and we weren't disappointed. My only critic would be that it was a little noisy but it was Friday night and there is a bar on the ground floor. The place is very open plan and airy and has a good atmosphere.... More

A morning of shopping in Bath builds quite an appetite. We had wanted to try this restaurant for quite a while as it is in a great location and looks fabulous and airy inside. The inside didn't disappoint- light, airy good atmosphere. The service was quick and polite, but after that it all went horribly wrong.... My partner (who is... More

Came here with a large group (14) at about 11 on a Sunday. Seating us was fine as we were the only ones in there and the place is huge. We were disappointed that they'd stopped serving breakfast but we asked, that as we were such a large group if they would mind doing the eggs benedict for us. This... More

Laughingly, your motto is " It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice" . what a shame that my husband and I were stopped from coming in this evening, with our 18 year old daughter. Your chap at the door - who looked all of 15 - stopped us as she didn't have ID on her.... More

It was necessary to write a critical review after first visiting this restaurant 5 weeks ago. Gave it the benefit of doubt and assumed we had picked a "bad" night so visited again. We should not have bothered. As many reviews state the decor and ambiance are superb but everything else is a let down in the first floor restaurant,... More
