This place is a good solid choice in Bath. Plenty of seating and the roof top seating is the best on nice days. Good wine selection and decent food.

Poor eggs benedict - cold, Parma ham appeared dry and old, bun not very tasty - overall disappointing. Good coffee, lovely surroundings

Food quality is good, service is efficient, pleasant and attentive. Prices are reasonable, decent choice of dishes which are prepared well without trying to reinvent or over complicate. The surroundings including restrooms are clean. We were upstairs and enjoyed the whole experience. Would come back.

My first time here for breakfast, a nice welcome and quickly served with a coffee. The menu is limited but adequate ranging from the full English to just toast - not badly priced. I opted for poached eggs on toast and my fellow diners selected similar but with bacon, which looked pretty good. My only comment was they served the... More

My partner and I visited here for dinner on Saturday 15th November 2014 around 8pm. We arrived a bit earlier than our booking and they sat us down fine. The bar was exceptionally busy when we arrived so we had to wait 15 minutes for our first drink, the starter arrived before our drinks. The lady did apologise 2 or... More

We called in for lunch on a beautiful October lunchtime hoping to sit on the roof terrace. Having eaten here several times I was expecting it to be busy. It seems the management were not as prepared as we were. We were greeted with a sign saying you had to order food and drinks on the ground floor for the... More

Fantastically glitzy and beautifully designed pub and restaurant sadly let down by “whoop-whoop” staff and poor conditioned Badger beer. Living not too far away from Hall and Woodhouse in Blandford, Badger beer is plentiful and of generally excellent quality, so I was surprised to find a poor representation of what should be a top-notch, expertly poured pint of their signature... Stopped off in Bath on the way to Cardiff and enjoyed a great lunch here. Friendly staff, good selection of food and drink. The service was prompt and the food very nice. Maybe a little pricey but the location and decor made it worthwhile. Take time to soak in the decor.

Sometimes have a pint (or two) after work on a Friday. Great sitting on the roof terrace in summer. Also occasionally lunch there. Fish finger sandwich not bad and the Halloumi Burger is really good (in my opinion). Prices used to be very reasonable but seem to have gone up recently. Menu also quite limited. Staff have generally been good... More

Having spent a number of evenings meeting a friend for drinks over the last few years at H&W, I have aka ways been impressed with the drinks on offer and the menu.. It had been a while since my wife and I had eaten at H&W and with its great central location (at which I feel you pay a slight... More
