Good service & very attentive. Highly recommended. A very popular eating house & if the rest of the chain is as good I certainly will be using them again.

We had a very reasonably priced meal as kids ate for £1 (drink, main and ice cream) My daughter declared her food 'delicious 9/10' my husband declared his curry '7/10' my lasagne sadly didn't hit the mark as it was full of gristle! It was clean, the women's toilets were HUGE and shabby rather than chic; but rather uncared for... More

Last June we visited this eatery and it was lovely. The place was fairly busy (which tells you a lot about their food) there was a waiter to take your order and drinks. And payment was after the meal. This time the place was empty and the 2 girls on the bar took 5 minutes to serve 2 people? Also... More

Slug is known for it's great cocktails. When it come to food, it's only average in my opinion. I could get ribs at a Brazilian restaurant for the same price. Nevertheless, I like that the ribs were not over filled with BBQ sauce but my chips could have been put to the side instead of act as a bed to... More

We haven't eaten here, mainly because of average trip advisor reviews. However, for a drinks venue its awesome. Buy one get one free cocktails all day everyday. Comfy chairs, free WiFi and a good selection of draught lagers. What more could you want.

Some will read this review and think I'm mad! Others will understand. Went to the Slug & Lettuce last night purely as a place to rendezvous with friends before going somewhere else. Should have known really but it was a quagmire of hen-do's all trying to out-squawk each other and lapping up the attention from the young boys. We got... More

From the front it looks like a small restaurant. But inside is a spacious bar and large dining room. Lots of food to choose from. Our favorite was the chicken pot pie. Save room for desserts. Lots of choices and all yummy

It's ok, typical city type place, nothing to complain about really, nothing to fall in love with either. Efficient staff, food and beer what you would expect.
