Came here for a hen party. We had our own room which was great for cocktail making however no option for other drinks wed have to leave the party to wait to be served downstairs which was a bit of a pain. This is the only place I go in Bath now. The staff are great, especially the manager with the great eyeliner, I forgot her name. The peanut butter cocktail should be taken off the menu. Who would even drink that? But the rest of the menu is tasty and good value. I love the variety of drinks! The building is... More

Came across this restaurant, and despite the slightly off putting name, decided to eat hear as do hungry. Found a table and was soon greeted and order taken. As a vegetarian it is generally the same range of food offered ..veggie burgers, lasagne or pasta. Here however had a couple of different options, one being my choice of grilled peppers... More

We had drinks here in the day time, a bottle of wine between the four of us. Nothing wrong with the drinks but service was a bit slow and surly. The whole place seemed grubby. Our table was dirty and nobody came to clean it, we had to ask for a cloth. You'd think that'd be the point the staff... More

Didn't realise it was a chain originally but was charmed by the staff, the outside courtyard, and the decor. Love the ladies restrooms! Happened in there on a Monday and they have 50% off so that was a winner! Very impressed with the food platter and the cocktails were great. Such a nice place to retreat to in the courtyard.... We visited Bath for 3 days and ended up in the Slug twice. Once for cocktails, once for dinner. Both times were fantastic. We are from Gloucestershire where our local slug is very basic, but walking into the Bath one was like a classy, gastropub type environment. The decor was lovely and the ladies toilets made my jaw drop! How... More

50% off Monday's! We had Beetroot Hummous and bread...and olives and bread for starter, very good! Mains - feta salad, menu states nectarine in salad and got peach, still really good...8.5/10 Philly Steak sandwich, standard..very good, 7.5/10. Toilet area needs urgent DIY - paint coming off wall, can see wood by doors.

No one seemed to want to take my food order. When it came was ok but not brilliant. Table dirty and no one cleaned it until we asked. Food was served then table wiped.

Standard Slug & Lettuce set at the top end of Bath's main shopping street. 50% off food on Mondays and 2 for 1 cocktails cannot be sniffed at but apart from this you can't get away from the fact that there are plenty of better restaurants in the Bath area. We had an extrodinarily long wait for both our main... More

Had a drink here. They managed to make a pint of Doom Bar taste revolting. Floor stuck to your feet and this was at 7pm. Listening to other people ordering they seem to have run out of all sorts of standards. Not got a bottle of Chardonnay?
