What a great place!

We visited this pub on our first trip to England. The place was quiet and comfortable. The bartender greeted us as soon as we entered. He was a wonderful gentleman. Very welcoming. He gave some great suggestions for local beers (with samples) and helped my wife (who doesn't like beer much) find one... read more

Half a chicken roast dinner. Quick, efficient and friendly service. Lovely roast. Almost too big to eat.

A lovely pub, run by the owners,in the centre of Bath. We asked a couple of locals for a recommendation on where to eat and this was their suggestion. We weren't disappointed.

This is a fabulous little pub in Bath. Lots of tables for couples. The food is excellent pub food, good portions and reasonably priced. Service was really quick. Would definitely recommend and go back.

Average pub food but the service was excellent. Pub has great authentic atmosphere and the food was decent though not worth talking about.

We found this pub on a night time wander of bath. Stepped through the door and were greeted by a lovely chap I believe called kev who was really welcoming and funny. A real delight, so much so we went back for a second evening.

My wife and I popped into this pub a week ago on a recce for our trip this past weekend with four other couples and found the food on offer was first class and hoped it would meet with the approval of our friends when we returned. We weren't let down. We all came away enthusing about the high quality.... More
