Snug and decent beers.

We pop in here after Bath Rugby sometimes. Very nice beers and we'll kept. A nice menu for lunch or dinner too.

We just picked this pub for lunch after our free tour, and was very pleased. I had the brie and tomato sandwich which was huge on a warm crunchy baguette. My husband had a chicken with ham BBQ and said it was very tasty. The menu was large, so you can find something. Very friendly staff that made you feel... More

My husband and I visited Sam Wellers last night as we noticed that everything in London and Bath so far has been a bit pricey. Almost everything on their menu was under £10 so we gave it a shot. It was a good choice! I got the cottage pie and 2 pints and my husband had a burger and 3... More

Great food, great atmosphere! The owner and his staff are super friendly. Honestly the best fish n chips in the UK. Saw lots of regulars on our many visits.

We were looking for a place to eat in Bath and stumbled upon this place. Nice quaint little pub, off the beaten path in Bath. Looked like a place the locals frequent. We got a table early, 6:20 pm. Ordered at the bar....food was delivered piping hot and quick! Our bar tender/waiter was very attentive not just to us, but... More

Called in here for a little rest on the walk around. Had a good selection of beers and people seemed to be enjoying a typical pub meal.

Hadn't planned to go here, but it was raining and we just stumbled upon it. Kind of glad we did. Nothing fancy, just plain simple pub grub, well executed. And a decent sauvignon blanc by the glass (according to Mrs D, my other half)

We were looking for a pub to have an evening meal and stumbled across this pub. It was an old style pub, but the food was excellent, The bar staff were friendly and one particularly was very good at giving directions for customers. It does not have the ambience of some other pubs but was really good. Choice of food... More
