Great Food

We recently visited the UK and Bath. Dined here as it was close to where we were staying and we had a lovely meal. Great vegetarian lasagne and true British fish and chips. Had a nice ale - they gave us samples of each to try. The décor was very nice with comfy areas to eat.

This is a nice local pub, it is somewhere that you can go for a drink without feeling your taking up a table in a dinning room, though it does get very busy when they have live music on. The food portions are huge, slightly up-market pub grub, its reasonably priced and always seem popular (they do have a kid's... More

Great pub, really attractive building and seating areas, with a really friendly landlady with exceptional hosting skills, the food is really good better than most of the restaurants in the centre of Bath. It is worth coming outside the centre of Bath to sample the food and experience the friendliness of the landlords and see how attractive an old Bath... More

As you walk in it smalls very "pubby", and the food whilst reasonably well presented is only average in taste in my opinion.

We went for a meal at The Weston on Monday 17th August, the welcome we received was pleasant and we ordered our drink and some food. The menu was 'foods from around the world' which I must say, looked interesting. When the food arrived I would class the quality of what was on my plate as looking poor and not... More

This pub eatery is a short walk from Bath city centre. The Weston was busy but spacious and welcoming. The bar staff were friendly when we ordered and bought over sauces before hand as apposed to after the food had arrived. I had their famous fish and chips and frankly it deserved to be. The chips were proper chips, thick... More

Advise to owner: do not employ DJ's that think they can play piano during the music festival. We wanted a good evening meal during our last night in Bath but was subdued to loud, awful music by a drunken DJ that hammered on the piano next to him!! Had to finish our food and drinks and leave early. Impressed with... More

This is our second visit and we were not disappointed. This is a carvery at £9.95 each. We both had the beef and it was lovely and tender being very pink. It came with a large Yorkshire, stuffing ball and cauliflower cheese. You then helped yourself to potatoes both roast and new, vegetables carrots, cabbage and courgettes, and gravy. As... More

The food was amazing! We had a mixture of carver and food off the menu. It was thoroughly enjoyed by all great food Yorkshire puds we're amazing! Maybe could do with fresh roasties a little more often as ours did feel like they had been warmed up but on the whole it was lovely and will definitely be going back

Visited two weeks ago. The Roast potatoes were obviously warmed up from the day before and were so hard we almost broke our teeth. Walter was somewhat apologetic. Wouldn't return again.
