I was a bit put off when the waitress brought over a tatty printed sheet on an old clipboard which passed as the menu but on a positive note the food was good and it was great value for money. We both ate fish and chips and with drinks the bill came to under £30.

Visited the Weston for the 'Motown' night, the tribute act sang a selection Motown for the first set the second set was obviously their choice of songs - which unfortunately they did not sing very well - did anyone hear them before they were booked? Food was poor - fishcakes overdone and as for the burger - looked like road... More

The food was great and the beer cold. How can you argue with that? We arrived in the early evening. The patrons looked to be an even split between folks enjoying a pint and those eating dinner.

We have just returned from having the Sunday carvery meal at The Weston. Have not visited this pub for many years but we were very impressed with the friendly service and excellent meal. Choice of two meats and lots of different vegetables. We followed this with ice cream, but there was also a good choice of sweets on the menu.... More

Went here for dinner and had the rump steak. Good size chunk of meat cooked exactly how I wanted it, rare. Wife had the seafood crepe, a little dry but nice. Good service nice place.

We have eaten here many times when visiting our sons in Bath. It is a good place to take students who want to stoke up without breaking the bank. We had an evening meal with drinks and the bill for 5 of us was extremely reasonable. There was a wide range of food and everything ordered was excellent in quality.... More

I've just eaten here (I'm staying with Air BnB hosts about 50 metres away). I had the Chicken Parfait, Side Salad, with coleslaw, and Chips. And a Chilean Sav Blanc (not common in Australia!). Lovely barmaid, lovely English pub atmosphere. All my choices were very good. A very eclectic retro soundtrack, as well! I'm coming back tomorrow night.

We visited The Weston recently as it was close to the hotel we were staying at. It is a large pub and on the day / time we visited (Wednesday about 8.30 PM) it wasn't too busy. There was a good selection of food: I opted for a burger & chips and my husband for fish & chips. The burger... More

Have eaten, and drank, in the Weston on a number of occaisions. This large, former coaching inn on the old main Bath-Bristol road has a fair sized car park (although sadly his means very little outdoor drinking space). The main pub is arranged on the ground floor, with I beleive a function room upstairs? Food is consistently good, although can... More
