Recommended by our Hotel, it was a short walk from the main hub tucked up a side street. There is plenty of light lunches to choose from (and more full meals if required) with good wines ;-) There are newspapers to read and large glass fronted windows to people watch if that is your thing.

I have visited this café / restaurant many times over the years, and in the past it has been buzzy. I found this time to be possibly under ' new ownership ' and, although, friendly, it lacked what the atmosphere had before.

I had lunch here with my partner on Friday, and what a great find it was! My partner had the Pork and apple sandwich and I had the kedgeree. The food was outstanding. The cafe was buzzing and although they were busy the food was quick and the service friendly and attentive. We have recently moved here and will definately... More

Whilst looking for a quick bite for lunch, we stumbled upon this place. Interesting little cafe cum tapas. Ordered beef sandwich and small portion of chips. The food was delivered in good time and tasted very nice. The service was generally very good but waitresses kept disappearing either outside or downstairs to collect the cooked orders. This meant that when... More

Stopped here one sunny day for a lovely tapas style lunch. Food was different and very tasty, and not expensive, and the staff were very friendly. Recommended!

Called in for lunch while in bath with family who always go here when in town. Had a very nice lunch in relaxed surroundings but I was slightly put off toilets reached by spiral staircase also used by waiting staff, as kitchen is downstairs. I appreciate that it an old building the toilrt is patitioned off but the handrail on... More

A shopkeeper told us about Same Same... and by looking at the menu, we weren't entirely impressed... but we decided to give it a try. And we were so pleased, we have already told everyone we can about this place. The celery soup was the best soup I've every had (and I'm a "soupy").... the Hamburger was out of this... More

I ate here with some friends today and we all enjoyed our meals. I had the wild boar sausage and cassoulet. It tasted good but have to say it was a very small portion. When it was delivered to the table, one of my dining companions said, 'oh, I didn't know you were having a starter!'. One sausage and half... More

This cafe is just a few steps away from the Bath antics market which I am a fan. It is in a wonderful location, far from the tourist spots, they serve good coffee & cakes. I haven't eaten there yet, but will soon! Their stuff is the most friendly I have ever seen in Bath. I also enjoyed their music... More

Went in for breakfast, which was tasty and fresh. Lots of customers placing special orders for coffee - they serve it how you want it! Prices were very reasonable. Waitresses were very friendly - a place to relax.
