Not that special.

Quite disappointed with the whole experience. Booked a table for my partners birthday and told them that she was coeliac. this was no problem. Menu was not that exciting. a far better one at Prezzo's. Not a patch on the Jamie's in Reading.

We went to Jamie's on a Friday lunchtime, the restaurant wasnt overly busy and was well staffed. After a 10 minute wait for our table, we were shown through to the front room which was a very pleasant setting. The section waitress took a good 15mins to acknowledge our presence... not a great start. Fortunatley the food made up for... More

wandered in off the street, no booking was required. Front of house seemed disinterested (no eye contact when speaking) but this was more than made up by the attention of our waiter who really sold the food . His suggestions were spot on .The menu was good and the food very fresh and tasty

It was a busy Saturday night and despite having a table booked we had to wait about 20mins for people that were finishing their drinks. We had a while to wait in between our drinks & food orders, which was just about bearable. I am not a huge eater so opted for the caprese salad as a main meal, I... More

Took my girlfriend here for our first date and it was a great choice. Lovely place with a great atmosphere. Great food, ok value and the view outside is fabulous. Can be busy at times so make a reservation, if it isn't too cold, sit outside and enjoy the view of Bath.

I recently went for lunch at Jamie's Italian. At the door/reception the host was very polite and quickly directed us to our table - he even gave us the chance to choose. But that was the only nice thing that happened there. And I am not exaggerating! We waited for 25 minutes until the waiter came to take our order.... More

Not a fan of chains but at least you know what to expect, reasonable food, reasonable price and pleasant atmosphere.

This was quite pleasant but not out of the ordinary, in fact I can't remember what I ate, which isn't a great sign. The staff were pleasant enough and service was fairly efficient

Unfortunately I felt very much like I was an interruption to the staff rather than their main job. Having worked in restaurants, I understand you're pulled in lots of directions to do lots of things, however I was received with a monotone welcome and can't say I was that impressed with the food. Both my partner and I had steak.... More

Met friends for a meal in May whilst on holiday. We have eaten at Jamie's in Leeds which is really very good so was expecting the same. Welcome and service both at the bar and the table was excellent and should score a 5 and as it was a Friday night there was a good, noisy atmosphere. However, the food... More
