I went here last Tuesday, it's lovely set lunch and really good atmosphere but one thing that I found hair on my sauce and I spoke to the waitress that I found hair on my sauce and nothing replied. She just grab the plate and change without say sorry.

We chose this Thai after looking at 2 others & were swayed by the crispy fish spotted on the menu. We chose well! The crispy fish was the best we have found outside of Thailand (& we've tried a few!) The other dishes we had were well cooked & delicious. The staff were really friendly. A lovely evening.

My Husband and I enjoyed our second visit to this Thai Restaurant. We had Set Menu C for two people but did not manage the sweet. The food was beautiful and the set meal on the large side. The staff are extremely attentive but not overwhelming. The atmosphere pleasant, it was early evening on a Friday and was comfortably busy.

A friend and I visited on a Saturday afternoon in March for the lunch menu and couldn't believe, as locals, we'd never been before. Fantastic hosts and waitresses, always with a smile and extremely attentative. The food was second to none and a bargain at £5.95 per main - I can't remember the last time I has a green thai... I must say we enjoyed an enjoyable dinner here with a few friends. The staff were smiley and ensured we had a fun evening, however, despite the food being of a high quality portion sizes left us slightly underwhelmed. Drinks are on the pricey side but not extortionate. All in all a fun evening but I needed to pay more... More

The food was lacking any depth of flavour and very much run of the mill fare. I had a beed stir fry which had no real flavours and my partners red curry was equally bland and uninspiring. I think the menu is too extensive. The owners might be better advised to do less and do it better, rather than doing... More

Like most Thai restaurants, Salathai is perhaps a little gimmicky when it comes to interior design, complete with the English waitresses wearing Thai dresses... However, the good was lovely and good sized portions - between us we had 2 starters; chicken satay and crispy duck and pancakes, and shared a chicken panang curry with sticky rice for our main. This... More

Do not be misled by the exterior of the Salathai because the service & food are very good. The set price lunch has a very good choice & is excellent value. Not a full of frills eaterie but proper honest food. Will revisit when back in Bath.

The decoration and lighting of the restaurant may be a little quirky, but the food and the service are fabulous! We'd recommend it in a heartbeat (particularly as they understand that not all vegetarians like tofu, so they are happy to serve veggie dishes without including it - always a win for me!).
