Authentic food at bargain price

Visited on a Friday lunchtime and had the set lunch. £8.95 for two courses. Bath was busy, tourists and graduation ceremonies going on, but there was plenty of spare tables. Decent choice of dishes, the stand out choice of our starters was the Tom Khaa spicy soup. Mains, between the three of... read more

We felt that it was nothing out of the ordinary for the quality & service. The food was OK but basic. The fish cakes seemed to be very poor quality & not home made.

We went to an Italian restaurant to eat and since we had no reservation, they were booked and no table for us. Best thing happened to us because we discovered this Thai restaurant! Food was excellent, the staff is so friendly and prices were great! Loved it!

Went to the Salathai after reading the reviews. We arrived and the restaurant was busy a good sign . All the staff seemed friendly and attentive . Had prawn crackers, Panang curry one rice which was plenty for two of us and a chicken Pad Thai all excellent , followed by a couple of cheeky Chang beers . Nice friendly... More

We had takeaway from here last week - maybe sitting in would have been better. We've had better Thai in Bath. We went for some old favourites and they just weren't fresh enough - and that's what Thai is about!

The restaurant was busy mid week, but the food was worth it! The starter platter was a really good choice as everything was absolutely delicious, especially the corn fritters, which I had never tried before. The curries were flavourful, and more fragrant than I have had in many other thai restaurants. Highly recommended.

Best Tom yum in England. And can't wait to go back! The place is small and has a modern interior but the food reminds you so much of Thailand. The Tom yum soup is a must have!

I love Thai food, but found the meals my husband and I had to be on the forgettable side. The ambiance is fine and the staff is very friendly.

I have lunch here with a friend having booked earlier in the week. The staff are excellent so no complaints there. The setting is nothing much but the food was very good. I thought it was pretty good value. I'd go back but there are other Thai restaurants I prefer in the area.
