First visit & a visitor to Bath for 2 nights. Only a sml restaurant , not particularly atmospheric , ambiance rather hushed tones, Food amazing in every way , starter fish soup , chose duck confit with , accompliments , veg so flavoursome & cooked just right. Only criticism was no selection of wines by the glass. One house wine... More

We visited here last night, a group of 6. We only booked last week and they could only fit us in at 6.30. We arrived at 6.15, were shown to our table, offered drinks and given menu. The place isn't huge, decorated in shabby chic French style - very cosy and friendly. Food really was fantastic, some of us had... More

Great meal, attentive service, not the grandest of restuarants hence why only four stars, (it would be four a half if there was a broader spectrum), however, that is me just being pedantic. This is one of the best eateries in Bath.

Nothing we ate was less than excellent. A fish soup that was dense and serve with moist Gruyere, snail and mushroom ravioli generously filled. The filet de boeuf cooked as requested and a tarte tatin topped with a fresh milky ice cream - you get the idea. It's all delicious. Mains around £20 but worth it. Wines predominantly French. The... There was four of us and we sat in the upstairs section. The service was impeccable and the food was to die for. It is such a pleasure when a meal is so perfect. All our party enjoyed their food and the whole ambiance of this restaurant. We were not rushed and I would highly recommend this place.

Always have lovely meal here- lunch or evening always good. I usually choose the fish special and the sweets are great too. Small and friendly. Definitely worth the walk up the hill out of the main streets of Bath.

First time here, but won't be the last. There were meant to be four of us but in the event we were only two, and this may have had an impact on where we sat, in the little room at the back on the ground floor. Given a choice I'd avoid tables there; it's a bit cramped and airless, and... More

Wanted to write and thank all at Casanis for a wonderful meal on the 25/11/14. This really is a great restaurant that is both well run and serves fantastic food. My blue cheese parfait starter was divine and followed by the stuffed guinea fowl my meal was virtually faultless. I also really appreciated the service that was courteous and efficient... More
