Lovely warm and friendly French family run restaurant

We recently dined here whilst on a weekend break, myself and my girlfriend found the staff warm and attentive, the food exquisite and the selection of wines excellent. I would highly recommend this hidden away beauty.

From the moment we entered the restaurant, we were treated very well and given a choice of tables to suit as my husband had his arm in a sling. The food was all delicious and the service impeccable throughout the evening. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would certainly come back.

Interesting French restaurant quite close to city centre. Parking is always a headache in Bath. Previously a double-fronted shop the restaurant area consists of the front shop area and the back shop. I believe there is a small courtyard at the rear. The decoration is tired and the tables are quite close together. The menu was interesting and varied, without... More

This is a place that lives up to its reputation. The food was superbly prepared. The dining room has a casual but refined ambience. Conversation can be conducted in normal voices. The service is attentive without being fussy. And it was good value for money--one of our best meals in England.

Six of us came here for dinner a couple of weeks ago for my graduation celebration and had an excellent dining experience. We sat outside in the little courtyard which was lovely and peaceful. The food and wine was excellent - no complaints from any of us. The service was also great. Casanis is definitely one of Bath's restaurant gems!

Good food but not exceptional , certainly not matching the hype around this place, we were extremely surprised at how bad the coffee was.

This is a gem. Our last night in Bath and we wanted something close to our hotel. The chef is from Nice with international experience that shows. Efficiently managed by his wife. Humble country flavors, freshest produce and meats, and desserts to longer over. Best dinner we ate in bath

We had been as a couple earlier in the year and really enjoyed this lovely French Bistro and when I was looking for somewhere a bit different to take a couple of US visitors to Bath I had no hesitation in booking a table again. We arrived on a lovely summer evening and were offered he chance to sit outside... More

Really nice meal. Great service and very accommodating. We had a shell fish allergy and the chef therefore adjusted the original ingredients to suit our needs. Appears to be a family run restaurant (English & French) which also adds to the whole experience. Would highly recommend it!!
