We went as a group of four on a Sunday the food was good not perfect but good enough for the money. We thought it would be busy considering it was a Sunday and we wanted Sunday lunch, it wasn't which I think is a good thing. Only one negative the deserts weren't great and sounded better than they were... More

Visited the Globe Inn for an early evening meal a week ago. Although most of the tables were reserved we managed to get in at about 5.30pm on the Tuesday. Very attentive staff and had a very enjoyable fish and chips, in fact one of the best I have had for some time. The prices are very reasonable and the... More

My partner and I have eaten here several times and are yet to be disappointed. The pub tends to be reasonably busy and at peak times during the evenings or lunch times it is not uncommon to have to wait a short while for a table to become available. The pub has a great feel and the low ceilings and... More

Four of us ordered and three meals arrived after waiting for some 35 minutes . Mine was completely wrong and apparently someone had pressed the wrong button on the till when inputing the order! Can I get you something else, was the question, whilst you are waiting, not not really I just wanted my meal to eat along with the... More

After arriving late in Bath we wanted somewhere nearby to eat. The Globe was recommended to us. Despite several bad reviews on Trip advisor we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. The staff were very attentive and our order was taken quickly. We had a drink in our hands within seconds. Although we were told the... More

We had not booked a table but there was a choice of tables to choose from. We ordered the drinks and meal together but forgot to bring the' identifying spoon' back to our table. Without speaking a person came over and flung the spoon on the table and walked off ! A different person brought the meals and took the... More

We attended here last summer, the food was delightful, but what a disappointment when we went back Friday night(6th June) although the waitress was lovely the food was not! the potted chicken pate...about an inch of fat on the top, actually had more of that than the pate. The chips looked and tasted as though they had been under a... More

Have been here twice this year - Mothers Day - which was a great Sunday Roast on a v.good special menu, and another family gathering on Pie Wednesday lunch time. Good overall menu, choice of beers and soft drinks - the flavoured lemonades are great.

We hadn't been out here for a while but booked on a Sunday evening with my family who were visiting from the States. The menu was sparse with very few options and there was a list of meals on a blackboard at the bar which were unavailable, so the choice was even less. There was mainly just a choice of... More

Came here with my 15 year old so had to move tables when the non-eating drinker at the next table was talking about his drug dealing past using more F words than any other part of his vocabulary. Lovely friendly staff but Vintage Inns standard menu is getting a little boring now after all these years.
