Favourite restaurant ever

La Dolce Vita is simply divine. The way the owners make you feel from the moment you ring to reserve a table to the end of your meal is just a perfect dining experience. The way the food is presented and the taste is akin to michelin standard without the usual pretentions that follow that style... read more

Incredible service and food. On holiday from Australia and had a night without the kids and would 100% recommend to anybody. A credit to the hospitality industry. Thanks Luigi and Patricia

Went without booking on the Friday evening of Shrewsbury Flower show Aug 14th . The 4 of us were tired and we were well fitted in despite them being busy as they said we could sit at a table but might need to wait a half hour for service although we were served with a drink straightaway by a waiter... Went with friends to La Dolca Vita on a recommendation from friends. We were not disappointed. Really interesting menu, in a small cosy restaurant. Service was good, reasonably priced. All round a very good Italian that would work for all occasions, family, friends and business.

We had a fantastic meal here and every main course and dessert was perfect. We stopped for a quick meal but were amazed by how good the food was. Worth staying and savouring the authentic Italian food - and try the SemiFreddo!

We managed to get a lovely table in this very busy little restaurant and the owner certainly earned his money, running the whole place by himself. He was super efficient, we waited for nothing! Lovely wine, my starter was without doubt the best thing I've tasted for a while. Only reason for not being excellent was my main was a... More

A fully family run, authentic, Italian restaurant, small and intimate, friendly and welcoming. Excellent food with allowances for individual tastes. We called on a Sunday evening after visiting friends for a meal on the way home and were stunned by the quality of food and service from the family. We both had sea bass for our main course but with... More

THe chef, son of the owners, could hold his own in any top restaurant. Small cosy restaurant with warm welcome from the chef's mum. I recommend the lobster sauce pasta if it is still on the menu. His delicate flavoured sauces , so rare in Italian restaurants in this country, are well worth the drive. Need to book at weekends... More
