I think that this place was trying to punch above its weight too much. The food looks pretty (some of it) but it was so bland and unappetising (unless we ordered the worst from the entire menu) My desert 'pistachio brûlée' came in chicken egg shells.... Made my stomach turn. Looked like green rotten eggs. :s The staff were nice... More

Was looking forward to going as part of a work Christmas lunch as really enjoyed the previous year. The place has changed around a bit and doesn't seem to work quite as well. The tables we were on were very small with little room for glasses etc along with the food, pretty much knee to knee with person opposite. The... More

A pleasant lunch with friends. Unusual but interesting menu. 3 of us had sandwiches and 1 a fish dish. Bread was soft and fillings tasty. Served on a board which was not easy to cut on, a plate would be better.

My partner took me to The Peach Tree for my Birthday meal and what a night it was. First class service in an excellent restaurant with top quality food. Finished off the evening with a cocktail in Havana next door! The perfect evening, thanks to our hostess :-) 5star.

Amazing night at the Peach Tree on Saturday night. They were fully booked but Grant kindly got us seated. This is the first time we'd been and the atmosphere was great with the wonderful piano player and the food... wow! Can definitely recommend the Piggy Bits to start, amazing fish and chips too! Only little let down was they brought... More

Had yet another lovely meal here. The fish and chips (The Codfather) cooked well with crispy but not oily batter. The Carbonara well seasoned and creamy. The welcome and service throughout was well executed, attentative and friendly without being too much. Will keep coming back.

I have visited the peach tree 3 times over the past 2 months and I though it was about time I wrote a review about how impressed I have continued to be each time I have been! The menu is very diverse and offers a lot of exciting dishes with an oriental theme. The service I experienced each time was... More

We had a great meal- superb presentation, prompt, friendly service and the wonderful piano player/singer made it very special! We had an early meal to celebrate my husband's birthday inbetween afternoon and evening hospital visits- so we were a bit stressed but the atmosphere and the candle in his ice cream did the trick! The owner came and chatted and... More
