Very good food, great atmosphere, excellent service

Saturday evening: tempura scallops then the duck. Both extremely tasty and well presented, the duck beautifully cooked, with a nicely sharp cherry sauce (a bit more of it wouldn't have gone amiss). Glass of sauvignon blanc and a very pleasant malbec, each as it should be. Finished with the cheese... read more

Attended for Mother's Day and felt let down by the service. We were seated at the very back of the room and felt like the staff just forgot about us. Had to wait for drinks and food despite there being hardly anyone left as we were quite late in in the afternoon sitting. Only good point was managed to order... More

Pleasant, helpful staff. Good for breakfast of bacon, eggs, mushrooms, toast and beans, served on a warm plate, which is always a bonus!

A friendly restaurant with good food and attentive waiting staff. The food was a good mix of things like burgers with some other more asian things. Specially recommend the starter of 'piggy bits' which is belly pork with a korean BBQ sauce

Three of us had a meal here last friday night . Very dissapointed with the soup starter which was ordinary ! scollops were nice but the piggy bits too much on the plate & very fatty as for our main meals the chicken was nice & the fish & chips were ok , the carbonara was sticky & dry .... More

We had a good family meal. A good Pinot Noir. I had a fantastic starter, Piggy Bits, and we were all impressed by the Humus. Our mains were good. My only gripe was that the Haloumi main was a bit dull on its own, it needed a sauce or some veg. All in all though, we'd go back, and that's... More

My husband and I hardly ever get out now we have kids and have moved away from family. So a night out is such a special occasion. We've never been to the Peach Tree but after our first visit on Saturday, we are already planning our return. Greeted promptly, then seated upstairs in the mezzanine dining area we were able... After a long day of trading at the Shrewsbury flower show we arrived without a booking (sorry) however the guy that greeted us made us feel very welcome and had a table ready without any fuss. The food was served swiftly and was delicious, very attentive friendly waiters and waitresses and we would not hesitate to recommend- we have been... More

We loved this place. Beautiful area of Shrewsbury. The building is charming with great history (the photos in here don't do it justice). The service was excellent and food wonderful. No complaints here. Would definitely recommend and will go back.
