Shrewsbury's most popular independent cafe bar and restaurant, located opposite the historic Shrewsbury Abbey, the building itself dates back to the 15th century but with a modern twist. We are situated directly next door to Havana Republic bar and restaurant, and also Momo No Ki Ramen Noodle Bar. We also offer a wide selection of cakes and pastries throughout the day accompanied by a great range of coffees, teas and hot chocolate too. Reservations are advisable, and can be made by telephone, facebook, twitter, or through our website.

The smoked salmon on a bagel starter was not great as the bagel was tasteless and the Roast potatoes in the Sunday Roast were not fresh they tasted like the potatoes you eat on Boxing Day after Christmas leftovers. I explained this to... More

We had a fantastic 50th birthday party in the form of Sunday lunch at the Peach Tree. The food was lovely, staff cheerful and always willing to help with our arrangements.

We've visited a couple of times in the last month or so, each time we haven't booked (a bit of a risk - it does get busy) but they've managed to squeeze us in. Both times we've been seated but not offered a drinks menu straight away but I think the idea is to book, then arrive a bit earlier... More

I cant fault the Peach Tree for décor, service, food and flair. Its very popular and goes from strength to strength because it has always kept ahead of its game. A few of us ate there this evening, service was great, food delicious, unique and well presented...they do great deals too! So we had a starter and main for just... More

After visiting Shrewsbury Abbey we called in here for lunch as it was close by. It is housed in a beautiful old building with impressive old cruck beams dating back to 16th century. The room is very tastefully decorated with some very interesting art works. We had a sharing plate of Shropshire pork, black pudding and choritzo and we really... More
