Great lunch time visit towards pricey end

My wife and I had a very good lunch at Shrewsbury loch Fyne. The food was excellent although getting towards the pricey end of the market. This however is because of the quality of the ingredients used. staff are great and very welcoming.

First time visit and from the moment we stepped in to choosing and eating our food, the overall experience was 100%. I even got to try a oyster for the first time :) I would def recommend Loch Fyne to any one from couples to family's. Fresh fish at its best. see you soon....

A friend and I booked Loch Fyne in Shrewsbury on a Saturday evening. On entering the place was lively and modern looking. Service was attentive,,,,maybe overly so with the waitress coming over every few minutes to check if we had decided what to order. But that's churlish....the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We both ordered the scallops and haggis.... More

We popped into Loch Fyne for lunch I with friends. We hadn't booked a table and although busy they quickly found us a table without any issues. The food was lovely and wine/ drinks just as good. we shall certainly be returning when back in the area

Food was generally excellent, good atmosphere if a little on the noisy side, good service. Our only thoughts were that considering this is a pride of place seafood restaurant, there was not a great variety of dishes really, and not terribly imaginative. And we personally wish the mussels could also be offered in the truly authentic French style with white... More

Popped in at lunchtime on spec without a booking and were seated immediately. Our waitress made us feel very welcome and gave a very clear rundown of the day's specials. We worried about the service because a very large party was already seated. The fears were unfounded and our order was taken and meals appeared promptly. We went for the... More

A very welcoming place. It was about 7.30 so not too full and the service was good. We both had fish meals and they were very good at a reasonable price.

On a day trip to Shrewsbury, this restaurant caught our eye. Initially we just read the menu then decided to simply opt for some pub grub. However, by the time we reached our destination pub we had convinced ourselves to turn back.... and a good decision it was. Although very busy, our waitress, Julie, found us a table for two.... I’ve been to quite a few Loch Fyne’s around the county, and never been disappointed, and this one is no exception. It has friendly, helpful staff, a good choice of food, not all fish, and some excellent wines. We visited with friends who dine here most weeks, and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from in Shrewsbury. The food... More

I will be honest It wasn't my first choice but I like seafood so thought I would give it a try. I had the Haggis and Scallop starter it was nice but one scallop and small amount of Haggis for nearly £9 is a bit much I had expected a few scallops at least for that kind of money. However... More
