We have eaten at this branch of Loch Fyne regularly since it opened, albeit only once every 9 months or so. Our visit this busy Saturday lunchtime confirmed that it has gone sadly adrift since last time.. The service was slow, slapdash and without any charm. Indeed one companion said she felt as if she were back at school so... More

We meet freinds for an evening meal and decided to try Loch Fyne as we had not been for a while. The resturant was not full by any means on a Friday night but the noise level due to bare floor boards made conversation very difficult. The waiter was very patronising for the whole of the evening which did not... More

Visited today for a family lunch with our boys. Has always been a favourite of ours and have given the benefit of the doubt on a couple of previous occasions, but afraid this restaurant has well and truly lost its sparkle. Tired, flat, scruffy in areas with food that is just passable and certainly forgettable. With good quality competition in... More

Lovely reception followed by an excellent and great value set meal. Good advice on wine to match the seafood pasta. We then both decided on the Creme brûlée served with delicate shortbread biscuits which were perfection

We visited Loch Fyne in Shrewsbury between Christmas and the New Year 2014. It was lunchtime and we hadn't booked but got a table no problem. Good service and food and value for money. I had sole on the bone and it was perfect. For a starter I had haggis with scallops which proved a great combination surprisingly. The 20%... More

I went there for lunch with a friend who had been a few times and suggested we should try it and recommended the flat steak. First of all the service was odd, the waiter directed all the questions to me which my friend (a woman) found rude. A foreign waitress served us the wine and it felt like it was... More

We have visited other Loch Fyne restaurants and although not cheap, the food is very good quality. I particularly liked the Haggis and Scallop starter in this case. Just a couple of issues with the service on this particular occasion. Maybe I am just getting old but there is enthusiasm to help and provide guidance on dishes available and there... More

Popped in for a family lunch (only 4 of us, kids are 10 & 8). This was our second visit this year, a surprise treat for my wife who really likes it here. I have to say after two visits it's just not really me. Staff are really friendly and helpful but the food is not for me. I can't... More

Absolutely perfect lunch provided by brilliant staff. Whole experience was a delight, my parents really enjoyed themselves. Staff were friendly, fun and very efficient. Food was perfectly cooked and plenty of it. We all want to go back for another meal 😄. Totally recommended
