Family meal last minute decision went to Loch Fyne and had a good night. Good food good service and the restaurant has a nice feel to it. All meals well presented and really tasty. Ideal place for a family night out only thing for me it is a little overpriced in my view.

A really warm welcome on a rainy Sunday. The staff were lovely. Our waiter moved us to a larger table when we made our order as we had the lobster platter , which was sensational! So much shellfish! Totally delicious. We will definitely be back! Wish there was one closer to our home near Wolverhampton!

Looks like this restaurant has received some bad reviews of late, so pleased we went back in October. Took a friend for her birthday as she had suggested this as a possible place as she doesn't eat meat. Was in town the day before so popped in to make a booking - all seemed fine. I was going to use... More

We had an early meal after shopping at around 6pm- no booking and the place was nearly empty.the very young bored looking female manager greeted us with "you alright there?" Which I'm sure isn't the correct greeting into a restaurant! She then slapped each course down onto the table with great speed and nearly ran from us. The food and... More

My husband and I called in on the first of the Christmas late shopping nights in Shrewsbury. The restaurant looked to be about half full at 8pm. The waitress was very chatty and polite, but, rather too quickly came to ask what we wanted to drink, so we asked for more time to decide, she came back within a couple... More

I think the title says it all really. Great location in Shrewsbury Town Centre, but the service and food never quite matches up to its promise for me. Although we had a reservation, our table wasn't ready and we were asked to come back 20mins later! When I declined and insisted on waiting, we were eventually offered a drink at... More

Despite the name one can't help feel slightly disappointed with the quality of the food at Loch Fyne. Quite frankly for a specialist fish restaurant I've always found the food to be mediocre and there to be better fish elsewhere in Shrewsbury. The service is fine, the atmosphere good but the experience never quite delivers. Such a shame.

After eating at the original Lock Fyne Restaurant in Scotland and also another Lock Fyne Restaurant in Harrogate, we were looking forward to our first visit to our local one in Shrewsbury... My Wife had the potted Mackerel which was tasty, but we had to ask for extra bread, as it only came with two small pieces, which is unusual,... More

Took the family here on a Thursday evening. We hadn't booked but as the place was half empty we thought that we would be OK. However, surprisingly the waitress said that they had nothing for 45 minutes so we said that we would leave it. We left and discussed where else we could go but my wife really fancied fish... More
