Good meal and service

Was visiting Shrewsbury and needed somewhere for an evening meal. Saw Loch Fyne and, although we had not booked tables were available. Service was good if slightly slow. Fish stew was excellent but fish tagliatelle was tasty but somewhat lacking in fish! Price was reasonable. Would visit again.

This was our 3rd visit, this time we came for my husbands birthday meal with friends. Great meal as before, very friendly service, a little pricey but what you except for a lovely special good quality meal. Amazing assortment of fish, shellfish, steaks and some other none fish dishes. 100% thoroughly recommended.

Well, I have only tried this restaurant once before many years ago and my friends who love seafood suggested to try this one in Shrewsbury. Firstly, I subscribed to their website for offers and one day I received a voucher worth 25% off the a la carte menu so I took advantage. I booked a table for two with one... More

Went here for a meal with a party of 13. Food and particularly the service was excellent. Some of the party hadn't been here before, were impressed with the quality of food and service, so will be going back!

After seeing the advert for the lunchtime menu we decided to venture in. Atmosphere was vibrant and busy. The service was quick and friendly. We both ordered mussles and they were the best I've had outside of France. Overall a fantastic meal with a great lunchtime deal

If you pick up a menu for Loch Fyne it promises great things. So does the overall environment when you walk into Loch Fyne in Shrewsbury. It's a large open plan space, with a great display on the back wall of the seafood bar, and the kitchen. We arrived at 8pm for dinner on a Saturday night and the restaurant... More

We've been here several times and the food rarely disappoints, with daily changing fish specials, usually well cooked and presented. However the service is over-blown and intrusive (presumably a company policy, as all the waiting staff seem to be over the top) - some people might like it but we found it too "in your face". I hope management read... More

We like Loch Fyne restaurants and have visited a few, this was our first time at Shrewsbury. Welcome and decor were fine and food as ever excellent. However, for some reason the staff were not quite coping. 1 hour 40 minutes for a two course lunch is rather too slow. Arrived at 1.30 on a Monday lunchtime and it had... More
