Having just returned from padstow, was very eager to continue our seafood journey, and loch fyne did not disappoint. Booked a table for 7 people at Loch Fyne last night. We are a regular customer but the last two visits have been very average. Staff are all friendly and helpful but the standard of food and portion sizes has definitely deteriorated. Two weeks ago we found an old cold sausage in our bread basket and last night two small... The decor and atmosphere was nice and relaxing and staff were friendly. Good value for money on the two and three course offer. Four of our party had the fish croquettes and fish cakes, but we're hard pressed to find any fish in them. With that said, breaded deep fried mashed potatoes are always tasty. The aioli sauce was also... More

We have visited Loch Fyne on many occasions and have always had a lovely meal, especially as I was able to choose my own main course from the wonderful array of fresh fish that was on display. We were seated quickly even though it was busy on the Saturday afternoon, I opted for the poached salmon, new potatoes, green beans... More

Food and staff wonderful! Great choice on the menu, loved they had a fish of the day. Highly recommend it, will definitely be back.

We went here to celebrate my son's birthday who has worryingly developed a taste for lobster (gulp). We had a nice table next to the window which was nice as it was early so made the most of the natural light. They have a 'does not contain gluten' menu which is good, although the fact they include chips on them,... More

We called here for our evening meal on a day out in Shrewsbury but wished we had tried somewhere else. We have been inundated with vouchers offering 25% off main courses which swayed our decision. When we arrived we pointed out to the Manager that we had the voucher. The restaurant wasn't busy and there were plenty of staff. Despite... More

Decor, food and format quite tired. Still very good though. Service a bit too over attentive (asked if everything was to our liking at least twice by three different waiters). Toilets def need redec. Food good without being memorable. Would return for lunch.

Myself and my wife visited Loch Fyne on a Saturday evening, and had booked for 8.30pm Dinner. The waiter was attentive and helped us with the menu. We chose our starter and main course pretty soon after sitting down and then waited. The restaurant was almost full, and in this particular venue it does get very noisy, so not a... More

Take heed of the bad reviews written this year and boycott this place! Absolutely terrible. Your hard earned money is better spent elsewhere. On decent food and prompt service, which you won’t find in Loch Fyne Shrewsbury. I went for a quick lunch, the restaurant was about 25% full (if that) and there were 4 waiting staff out front, 2...
