A realy good seafood restaurant and so far from the sea. I was taken here for my birthday and what a surprise to see such a good choice on the menu. We were offered Oysters to try before we ordered. The staff were very friendly and efficient the food was excellent. I had haggis served with scallops for a starter... More

It was a very busy Saturday night and we hadn't booked, but the staff were really accommodating and made up a table for our party of five, before moving us to a better spot which became available just before we our starter arrived. Food was fine, it is a reliable restaurant with a good atmosphere. We will be going again.

Popped in for lunch as we fancied a bowl of mussels. My wife chose from the very competitive short menu choosing potted mackerel followed by mussels and chips. I chose a crock of mussels from the main menu and we shared a bottle of Muscadet. The service was efficient and friendly, the food was good and the bill showed our... More

My daughter booked Loch Fyne to celebrate my 50th Birthday and we were all so looking forward to it. Six adults in total, we arrived in good time and greeted at the door, so far so good. We weren't exactly shown to our table however it was pointed out to us!! The waiters all seemed a bit rushed although the... More

We have eaten at Loch Fyne on a number of occasions and are never disappointed. We visited for lunch on Tuesday 12th August 2014 - the restaurant was about a third full. We were shown to a table straight away with our drinks order being taken immediately and being delivered in just a few minutes. Luke, who showed us to... More

Visited Loch Fyne on a Sunday evening with family, we were a party of six adults and one toddler, upon entering the welcome could have been better, we were ignored for a minute or two and then when we confirmed we didn't have a reservation the waiter didn't look too impressed at our presence. We were seated straight away and... More

We have visited on many occasions and always intended to visit loch fyne the next time we were there around lunchtime and we are so glad we did! The restaurant was very busy when we arrived at 1.30 and looked full but we were welcomed warmly by a very friendly member of staff who showed us to a table and... More

Lunching with a friend who raves about this place...very busy as it was the first day of the Shrewsbury flower show but the manager found us a table with the air of someone on a stage expecting us to throw roses at his feet as we showed our gratitude. Waitress was Lucy, very enthusiastic and pleasant, I chose the set... More

I've visited Loch Fyne restaurants in different locations before so was keen to go here when in Shrewsbury. We had a little wait before having our order taken but service was good when we did. We did have to ask twice for the water and lemonade we ordered but the food was very good when it arrived and obviously cooked... More
