Yummy!

Visited for a very late lunch whilst on a day trip to Shrewsbury with friends. Researched the Good Life first on Trip Advisor and it did not disappoint. Excellent vegetarian food with lovely home made salads. Because we were late visiting there was not much left but still a decent choice and we... read more

We booked a table for 6 so that my 77 year old Dad wouldn't have to wait around. The "get a tray, queue, order, wait" system is a bit confusing for first-time customers, but it was worth it - everything was fresh, delicious, wholesome. Thanks - the biggest accolade was from my (meat-loving) Dad - he asked when we could... More

I regularly visit Shrewsbury and I ALWAYS stop off at The Good Life. The food is freshly prepared each day and the staff are really really helpful, friendly and polite. My last visit was quite late in the day so our options were slightly limited, it was 15 minutes before closing though! Non the less we were welcomed in and... More

Luxury that I can go and eat anything off the menu as I'm a Vegitarian. Proper fresh food. Yum yum. Food Heaven. Been going there for years.

As a meat eater - I rather suspect most like myself may not have a predilection for vegetarian restaurants - they tend not to register on our radar... Following a visit to this establishment today with another (myself under minor duress) I must urge a change of settings if in Shrewsbury to try 'the other side'. You may be very... More

I decided to dine here with a friend 'a spur of the moment' decision. It was a busy lunch time but I found the staff to be helpful, quick and polite. My friend opted for the mixed salad which was fresh, healthy, tasty and satisfying. I immediately noticed the range of home made puddings and sweets and decided on the... More

Wasn't what I was expecting but nevertheless there was a good choice of lovely food at very reasonable prices. There were three of us, we all had different meals but shared a platter of mixed salad which was lovely. We followed the main course with pecan pie which was delicious!

It's an ok half decent place to eat but not that great to be honest. There are plenty of places to eat within 200 metres that have cheaper prices with a better choice. However staff are friendly and kind. Average is about right but nothing to rave about. Worth a visit though.

I'm not vegetarian but was lured in by the tempting smells coming from the restaurant.. The food is exclusively vegetarian but even a meat-lover like me has plenty of choice ! The prices are good, service is friendly and the food is delicious. I had home -made quiche , my wife had Spinach moussaka and we shared a HUGE plate... More
