I've been coming to this place on and off for many years and can highly recommend the food here. The peanut nut loaf and the roasted vegetable and goat's cheese quiche are my personal favourites. There is a very good choice of salads - all freshly made and generous portion sizes. The desserts are lovely, too, and I really appreciate... More

It was a bit confusing at first, as there are no clues about how you order your food (we walked in and sat at a table) and there was no menus on it etc. All good once we figured out that you order at the counter though. The food was great and we will definitely go back again.

A vegetarian restaurant in the heart of olde worlde Shrewsbury. Cosy and intimate atmosphere. Wonderful and wide selection of delicious vegetarian dishes. A warm welcome from staff. Great table service. Will certainly visit on my next trip to Shrewsbury.

After a two hour drive to Shrewsbury, I fancied a breakfast ahead of my working day. I've visited The Goodlife before and I know that a veggie breakfast is now an option, so I gave it a spin! Great service from the off, and a choice of cooked eggs freely offered. I also ordered tea and what a small but... More

Visited for a very late lunch whilst on a day trip to Shrewsbury with friends. Researched the Good Life first on Trip Advisor and it did not disappoint. Excellent vegetarian food with lovely home made salads. Because we were late visiting there was not much left but still a decent choice and we were offered a big scoop of every... More

We booked a table for 6 so that my 77 year old Dad wouldn't have to wait around. The "get a tray, queue, order, wait" system is a bit confusing for first-time customers, but it was worth it - everything was fresh, delicious, wholesome. Thanks - the biggest accolade was from my (meat-loving) Dad - he asked when we could... More
