Had a lovely meal this evening. Fabulous food and good service. The coffee has room for improvement. Not up to scratch. Can very much recommend.
We ate in Chez Maw as part of a package we booked with the hotel and to be honest we're not expecting much as hotel restaurants don't often live up to their promises! This was different, though, and we had a la carte meals of excellent quality each of the three nights we stayed. The staff are well trained and... More
At first I wasn't too sure about Chez Maw, instead of being shown to my table, I was directed to the bar; given the menu, I ordered my drinks, and it was here that my meal order was taken. It was only when my meal was almost ready that I was shown to my table. (I had to wait one... More
We enjoyed a couple of meals here during our two night stay at the Valley hotel, the second night because we were sure we wouldn't find anything else as good locally. The service is first class, choosing from the menu in the lounge before being taken through to our table. A wide choice of reasonably priced wines, and I can... More
We were spending the weekend at The Valley Best Western Hotel, the Chez Maw was the restaurant there. We booked in for dinner and were not disappointed. The food & service was fantastic. An al la carte menu with lots of choice. The staff were very attentive & proficient. Would certainly recommend eating in this lovely restaurant.
The meal we had was beautiful and the staff were fantastic - very accomodating with us being a table of 13. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening and would deffinatley go again.
We stayed overnight at the Valley Hotel where Chez Maw is located. The restaurant is named after the Maw family whose tiles are to be seen decorating the hotel. Diners enter the bar for apperatifs and while you are perusing the menu you are served appetisers. The food is excellent quality and there is a wide choice of dishes. All... More
The meals here are of a high standard. The menu had a range of meat and fish dishes which come with some form of potato and vegetable. There are also vegetarian options. The staff are very friendly and speak very politely. You order in the bar area and they seat you at your table when your food is ready. They... More
Chez Maw is located within The Best Western Valley Hotel & overlooks the gardens & river that draws so many people to Ironbridge. There was a Gourmet Event on when we visited with 6 courses on offer. The food was very well cooked & presented - the service attentive - overall a good experience I hope we can go back
