Excellent menu, with 3 price bands. Light Bites, Pub Favourites, & Restaurant. We chose the Pub Favourites, and got 2 very good quality, piping hot, portions for less than £18. Staff were very friendly, and no attempt was made to pressure us into buying any extras. A nice ambience, without upselling, which makes a very nice change.

This pub has regular live music but the noise level is contained with a partitioned bar so you can enjoy a quieter meal in the main bar if wanted. Menu is a bit over-priced for some of the dishes (£15 - £20 range) but they serve a good Steak & Beer pie for £8.95 and my partner had a stir-fry... More

Stayed nearby for a few days so visited twice. Our evening meal was enjoyable if a little over priced. Sunday lunch was really great value and the quality was top notch. Options of 1, 2, or 3 courses for £9-£13. Good selection of beers.

We have previously stayed at the Malthouse, but never left a review for the restaurant....so thought it was about time, as the food is always amazing & service great. We dined here Saturday evening & as always faultless. We know every time we book, we will never be disappointed & have a great evening. Thanks for a great night.

With the prices here you would expect far more than a greasy spoon style dinner. Don't bother to complain, you will be shouted at by Cruella De Vil and made to feel like she is doing you a favour. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!

We found this restaurant when looking for somewhere to eat whilst visiting Ironbridge. If you can get passed the rather strange decor, the food and service is rather good.

Spent a great Saturday night in the Malthouse. Bit noisy with the band playing under our room but it was all part of the atmosphere of the place. The food both on the evening and for breakfast was excellent. Enjoyed our stay. Would recommend as a great place to stay
