We were made to feel welcome and given a table quickly even though it was busy. Menu decent, drink service prompt, order taken well. The starter was good, although while my... More

Terrible service, Terrible rooms. Food very over priced. Beds, lights, everything broken. Worst stay I have experienced and the most expensive. Refused refund or adiquate comepensation (but free breakfast)

I went to Ironbridge with some friends & visited the Malthouse. The food was more reasonably priced than previous menus but the service was slow & the food average. I had a steak baguette but the steak tasted like the "scraps" & not quality food. My wife had the cheese board with a friend but the portion size was for... More

We stopped here for lunch whilst visiting with family. Its a little further from the bridge than other eateries, but we found the food there to be excellent. We arrived at midday, and there was only a handful of patrons, but by 1pm it was packed! Great value and large portion sizes.

As we arrived at the Malthouse we were greeted by the friendly waiting on staff who showed us to our table fairly quickly. After drinks orders were taken and bought to our table. Now me being a big steak lover I thought I would go for the 20oz steak that they had on their menu. Let me tell you it... More

We stopped for a meal here but decided on drinks only as the meals were priced very high. I'm sure they get good footfall but I'm disappointed they feel the need to charge so much for, what I can see, is quite normal/basic meals.
