Staying locally for a couple of nights and nipped out on off chance of getting a table here, welcomed and seated within minutes, chose from a very wide choice, husband had steak and ale pie and i had warm goats cheese salad, both were excellent, live music was far enough away to be comfortable. Thank you

The Malthouse was open late for lunch when most places in Ironbridge closed at 2:00. We were starving and didn't have a reservation, but had no problems getting seated here. The staff was great to us. My husband had the Beer Battered Cod & Chips; I had the Steak Melt, and we shared the Marinated Olives & Hummus...we loved every... More

we didnt book but were they managed to get us in, it did fill up very quick after us though and most of the tables were reserved. We had a pie and a lamb burger and then the trio of puds. The meals were nice and the strawberry and white choccy cheesecake was yummy..

We called into the Malthouse having been turned away from The Meadow. See separate review entitled 'go to the Malthouse'. First impressions were of a very warm welcome and how garish the decor was. We chose burger and chips each. I have to say this was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. Hot things... More

It was a very busy Saturday night when we visited the Malthouse and were lucky enough to get a table for two. Our drinks order was taken and swiftly bought to us, our meal order was taken by another waitress and within 15mins our steaks were on the table. It was the best rump steak I've had in many a year,... We went here for a Sunday lunch. We had beef and pork which was lovely. Vegetables are served in a separate side dish and once again these were great. Highly recommended and would visit again

Great little restaurant, the chips were to die for. Generous portions at a good price. Friendly efficient service and they had a live band playing

Had a good meal there on Tuesday. The food was tasty as usual and the service was very friendly and efficient. However, I think it was rather expensive compared to other places I have eaten at.
