Fitted us in at short notice as we were on a stopover. Saturday night in Summer not a good time to visit as they were very busy. Staff friendly but long 50min wait for food. Meal unremarkable but choice of beer good. Décor rather dark and overbearing (gothic)

Its as pub, what more can I say, good outside seating with good views. Set back a little off the road which was good as the road is quite busy.

Ordered the chinese duck dish, rib eye steak and the mixed grill which were all tasty, just had to wait forty minutes for the food.

Ate Suday lunch with my dear Mum at the Malthouse restaurant. Food was superb, cooked to perfection (as always) and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Also a seating area outside overlooking the river. Fab live music and comedy evenings held here. Most defiantly be returning very soon.

We'd walked 6 miles from Much Wenlock through mud & rain. And they welcomed us in! Good service and excellent baguettes. And the bowls of chips were delicious. Dogs are also welcomed so we'll definitely be returning. Excellent place

Great position by the river Severn. Delicious olive with humours and pita bread starter but too much for one . Was easily large enough for two people. Minted lamb casserole was delicious. Wine prices rather steep and was very surprised to be charged for soda water.
