Lovely little place for a bite to eat.

I stopped off here for a little lunch whilst having a walk through Ironbridge. It's a lovely little place with a quirky layout. Something a little different. The food was lovey and service was prompt.

We dropped into the White Hart at 6pm seeking coffee after a damp day walking so we weren't the most prepossessing of customers. We were however, warmly greeted and enjoyed a nice cup of full strength caffeine at one of the comfy sofas. Relaxing (and drying out) we booked a table and moved on to a sustaining glass of a... We dropped in as we were walking past because of the sign outside saying 'yes you can just use our loo, yes you can bring a dog, yes you can pay by card' - sounded good! The welcome was warm and friendly but not overbearing. The choice (and explanation) of beers was good. The menu was tempting and we went... More

There are a few pubs in the area that could learn a lot from this place. We popped in for lunch on a rainy Monday. The owner, immediately charming and chatty, very professional and welcoming, clearly knows his stuff and makes you welcome. Had a lovely lunch, shared some tapas starters which were anything but ordinary, lots of flavour and... More

Nine of us visited to celebrate my dads birthday-an increase of one at last minute. Service and food couldn't have been better. The staff were lovely and allowed us to bring our own cake which they delivered nicely . The bill was reasonable. This is the second time I've eaten here and would highly reccomend it to all ages.

Have visited the White hart on several occasions for food and drinks and every time we go we are greeted by really friendly staff serving quality wine and food. The menu changes regularly which means that there is lots of choice. Special mention to The front of house staff who go over and above to make you very welcome. Keep... More

This restaurant was recommended by the B and B we were staying in. It couldn't have been any better. Surprisingly sophisticated dinner options for such a small town. We were given a table upstairs which was much quieter than the downstairs dining. Service was excellent.

We wanted a lunch setting for a group of 20+ people for a Saturday. Difficult to find somewhere in Ironbridge that could accommodate a group this size in a discrete dining area. The White Hart had no problem offering us a lovely quiet room upstairs and were more than helpful in helping us arrange a pre-ordered menu. The food was... More

We walked the 12 mile heritage trail from Telford, with Ironbridge as a half way point. We found the White Hart on the main road, it had a good location overlooking the river and the ambience was good. We both had the fish and chips and the meal was very tasty. The staff were friendly and efficient. The only problem... More

Sat outside for lunch on Easter Monday & the location was great. The kids ordered sausage & mash (1 sausage cut in half) & pasta, my sons comment on sight of his meal was 'cheapskates'. Myself and husband shared 3 tapas & a portion of chips which tasted ok but nothing special & we had to order 3 extra portions... More
