Had the 2 course quick lunch with my son. Service and all our courses were good - the sage flavoured ravioli was delicious. Drinks were expensive and the whole restaurant was freezing which spoilt the meal.

Even on a very busy Friday night this was a very pleasant dinner. We had a short wait at the bar mainly because our driver was delayed as he was having trouble finding a parking space - a not uncommon problem in central Sheffield. I enjoyed the food even though my sole, served nicely off the bone, was slightly overcooked.... More

Had dinner with group of my friends and we decided to share the food so that we can have a try of different dishes. Food were fantastic and service was great. Waitress was very attentive. However, the price was not that budget friendly so I will only visit the restaurant occasionally for special events. But overall this is a great... More

A large group of us visited Piccolino's for a family celebration. Firstly they couldn't seat us all at one table, so we were seated at two different tables separated by a service area/disabled toilet. The food was nothing special and the drinks were very expensive. Be warned they automatically added an extra £75.00 service charge for our party, we asked... More

You can instantly see who restaurants like Piccolino are trying to be. Unfortunately they are neither Jamie's nor Carluccio's. The sauce in the Penne Alarrabbiata I had tasted metallic whilst the sausage was thin and sweaty. I had eaten something far superior at a Carluccios a few months earlier with lentils and chunky Sardinian sausage. Jamie's on the other hand... More

The restaurant is beautiful and the staff attentive without being intrusive. The food both myself and friend had was delicious and since it wasn't busy, we didn't have a long wait. Prices weren't too bad, with two of us sharing a garlic bread starter and a main each, together with a bottle of prosecco coming to £57. Have already booked... More

If you were to judge this book by its cover you would probably expect high quality food - it does look like a high end place. However it is a chain and bears all the hallmarks of such as soon as you pick up the menu. There's a ton of dishes on here, none of them particularly seasonal or regional,... More

Loved sitting in the terrace for our lunch. The sun came out and they opened the roof but left the heaters on.Food and service was great. The terrace does not suffer with loud echoing noise like the main restaurant but some may say it is like sitting in a goldfish bowl !. We love the place and will certainly visit... More
